Yes, and that is because there may be no evidence to support that notion, so now that the husband reacted violently to her telling the house maid to leave the house, what does that tell you about the irresponsible husband? And even at that, you expect her to allow the maid to stay in the house after stealing from her?

On the matter of evidence, did she mention any evidence that the maid actually slept with her husband or even stole from her? Did she mention what she supposedly stole from her? What if the maid was actually a hardworking, honest person that bothered the children (if any) and husband really liked, and when madam is beating her for stealing what might have just got lost, the husband decided to speak out for her?
