So with all your baseless assumptions, the best way for the husband to defend the housemaid is to throw a glass table on a 6 month pregnant woman and seriously injure her in the process? Serious injuries that can be life threatening?

You people will say anything, literally anything even if it sounds stupid, just to defend an idiot because he's a man.
There's still no evidence that he threw that table at her. Continue. You all are the same. It's only the unwise that believe a crying woman without listening to the man.

Yes, and that is because there may be no evidence to support that notion, so now that the husband reacted violently to her telling the house maid to leave the house, what does that tell you about the irresponsible husband? And even at that, you expect her to allow the maid to stay in the house after stealing from her?
On the matter of evidence, did she mention any evidence that the maid actually slept with her husband or even stole from her? Did she mention what she supposedly stole from her? What if the maid was actually a hardworking, honest person that bothered the children (if any) and husband really liked, and when madam is beating her for stealing what might have just got lost, the husband decided to speak out for her? We all know that in most households with maids, the man dare not defend the maid when madam is beating her for fear of madam claiming they're sleeping together.

HUH? angry Didn't someone hail some woman called Chioma for accepting her cheating husband in the name of peace? Why is it unclear when another woman accepts cheating from her husband but not a house help stealing her property? grin
Lol
NO woman will accept cheating from her husband when the cheating is CONTINUOUS, in the SAME HOUSE she lives, and with a MAID she has CONTROL over.

So you knew he was sleeping with the househelp and you didn't send her away, immediately, and only decided to send her away when she stole from you? The story is not clear.

More than half of easterners have been dispersed to other regions because you're not even safe among your people. But you want to fix the security situation in the country. What a joke!

It's funny that you'd tell people to mind their business while commenting on an issue completely of no concern to you.

Sir I agree that government should protect it's citizens but do you have any real data to point to that says a child under 4 should not go to school?
Our laws can't just be based on emotions. They should be backed by research and solid evidence don't you think?
So please point to an extensive research then we would understand why government has the right to tell us when to begin our kids education.
Okay, I'll do that.
While I'm at it maybe I should also provide an extensive research on why the voting age should be 18yrs and not 12yrs. Or why the age of consent should be 16-18yrs and not 10yrs. Or why children under the age of 10yrs are should be in school and not on the streets hustling.
Maybe I should also provide or if need be produce an extensive research on the effect of brain development on assimilation of routine school information.

It is common for siblings to fight among themselves at home. But does that mean an outsider can come and fight any of the siblings and go scot free from the other siblings?

Romance / Re: Why Do Men Appreciate Help More Than Women? by thesicilian: 7:51am On Apr 23
People who work hard for their money will always appreciate any little things you give them, because they know what it must have cost you in the first place. Most men fall into this category.
Women who have been trained to work hard for money instead of depending on men also appreciate little helps and gifts you give them, especially when it's clear to them that you want nothing in return.

tctrills:

And why should government dictate the age you go to school?
It is the job of the government to make sure her citizens are not left at the mercy of the greedy capitalists (who will do anything for money including allowing a 4yr old child to begin school and any level the parents want as long as they can pay well) and even protect the children from the parents themselves (nowadays because the parents are "busy" they don't mind sending a 6 months old infant off to kindergarten with the resultant effect that by the time that child is 3-4yrs old he is already through with nursery without understanding anything and ready to begin primary.

If they strictly enforce their law of minimum 6yrs entry into the primary schools and outlaw "double promotions", everything else will fall into place.
