Really? Tax clearance @ DB Are you sure?Although you need a sworn affidavit to show relationship.
Maybe TIN? But then you cannot open a Biz account with DB without TIN.

(Done), sign the provincial admission given (done), pay $7000. Now do we have to pay all these... although on the admission letter it was stated that if refused all money will be returned. Since you are turning it to real thesis, what chapter are you? Lol! Just kidding.

Remove stories like "when I was a child...." and leave reasonable points like "my undergraduate research was about...., During my study in Canada, I will research ......, I will be sponsored by my .... " and put few sentences as evidences buttressing it.

In fact a good SOP/LOE will address every reason a visa officer will consider to reject your application. Each paragraph in the essay or letter address just a single point.

Personally, i prefer not more than 2 pages.

Be warned: all I said are just my personal opinions. I am not an expert in visa application nor VO. Thank you.

The only reason it is advisable funds are transferred to an applicant's account is to buttress the fact that INDEED applicant will have access to funds made available for study. Other than this, funds can also be in sponsor's account. If sponsor is a 3rd party, transferring the funds is more convincing as to commitment than just making such claims in a letter or affidavit.

More to words, actions should eliminate any doubt whatsoever in a visa officer's mind. So YES, have him transfer the funds to you.

it's not compulsory if he pays the 10k into ur account but it's safer as it shows how committed he is (in the face of the vo), as regard ur naija account with #500k it's a must u include it(it will help reduce the risk of personal asset ). u don't need affidavit from ur bro if he can pay ur tuition fee and living expenses to ur school and ur account respectively. Pls gurus in the house can assist on this as well

My immediate elder brother (blood brother) is my sponsor and he will be paying my tuition fee from his acc.
After the tuition fee, the balance will be above 30k CAD.
I'm applying in U.A.E and i will be using my brother's Nigeria account.
Is it compulsory he transfer the 10k CAD to my account?
I have 500k naira in my own personal account in Nigeria, should i include that in my documents as well?
Is there any need for affidavit?

I am actually in the same boat. However, I have decided to submit just the police report from my current location and possibly write a letter of explanation as to why I cant send the one from Nigeria.

*More so, I sent a mail to the Visa office/embassy in my current location. They said that would do.

Good luck bro/sis. I see you went for the easier route. Hope you can afford their fees cos, except UNBC, those schools aren't likely to give funding. Hope your new program is related and higher than previous program.
