Should Blomberg waste their time on countries with populations less than Lagos state ? Eg. Ghana. What is the economic importance of a country the size of Ghana to Africa and the world ? Very little.. |

Deltagiant: INNOSON is a good way for the Federal government to outsource some of her defence equipment needs. INNOSON is indigeneously owned and a better way to protect designs the FG might want classified -customized equipments. The national war museum at Umuahia should be an eye opener for Nigeria - difficult to believe those beastly equipments were built under duress and in the most severe auster conditions.
What is that fighting vehicle built in China or Korea that cannot be replicated even in a more rugged method at Nnewi? It's time to look to the east and tap on the potentials! HELP shall come from the EAST.. |

It would seem that GEJ's cluelessness is contagious and spreading to his supporters. So Al queda never operated on US soil ? Were you a kid by 9-11 ? He mentioned Al queda and ISIS. You picked only ISIS to comment about in vulgar tones. So US should ignore ISIS to fester and spread like Al queda since it hasn't entered US borders ? Who is really clueless here ? Stop the substitution of the country's dollar revenues with printed naira. Naira should be able to firm up at least when oil sells above $100 per barrel.
Soludo at the tail end of his tenure made a proposal on this..Dollar should be shared to the states. The states should be left to go and source their naira.
This will strengthen trade and stimulate the money market. CBN and commercial banks are chopping alone.. |

Rapmoney: Going by the high demands and unnecessary conditions attached to marriage, many young men now see marriage as 'luxury'. They save and save and save over and over again, just to fulfill that cultural obligation! Omo, wetin dey happen sef? Which way? Is this part of our culture or just a social trend that was started by our society people. It has even become so annoying to learn that even among the middle class and the average citizens, the expectations are so high and outrageous!!! Just check out some of these:
1) You might be asked to buy boxes of clothes for the mother and probably, grandmother of the wife-to-be!!! What would her grandmother be needing box of clothes for? Will she wear them all before she finally tell the world 'good-bye?' Come to think of it, is the man getting married to the girl's mother or grandmother?
2) If you collect list finish, you go know say na 'egbegba' for the matter The fact is that, after fulfilling what's on the list and other things attached, the woman might still go out to bleep one of her ex-lover! Bride price or dowry should not be more than 1500 naira or at most, 2000 naira. After paying that, eating and drinking with family and friends (in a moderate way o!), the man and woman should be free to go their house and start their family. All this issue of eating and drinking as if there is no tomorrow, closing down an entire town or street, inviting every Tomide, Dike and Haruna is pure RUBBISH!!!
3) Why should I save for marriage as if I am paying for a land, house or car. Same woman that will stay in same house with me and which we will both give birth to children together? I don't get it!
This nonsense is making many young and ambitious men to be scared of marriage and even committed relationships!!!
Please, feel free to share your views. Thank you for the out cry. I no send them o. |

mcdokwe: I don't and it is my greatest regret. My hitting her can never equate to the verbal, emotional and often physical abuse she subjected me to even though the later comes to nought as I am stronger than she is.
Believe, any man who loves you would wish that you are all laughter all the days of your life, but women often give room for that as narrated above. And had women more physical power than men, the male folks would have gone into extinction. No man would be as stupid as to hit a woman for no cause. Some ladies are in destructive friendships with their fellow girls. You need to see how destructive the advice some ladies give to their fellow women. What these girls don't understand is that some of their friends give them those advices out of envy to ruin their happy relationships with their man. If I want to date a lady, I will tell her its between me and her. No silly advice from friends or family. And I mean it. One day, I could just call her and say, pick me or that your lady friend Chioma. If she picks chioma, I cut the relationship. Some women are jezebels. But they don't know it. If I notice, you are closer to your friends than me, then I quit.. Sorry, I pity your loss. But one fight shouldn't have led to a complete break up with someone you should have married. |

naijaspeak: I think that it is high time the federal government of Nigeria arrest this unpleasant act of churches in Nigeria who are fond of buying choice properties all over the country in the name of establishing churches to spread the gospel.
There is an unhealthy competition by several churches in Nigerian this days namely ( Living Faith Church ) winners chapel, rccg, christ embassy etc to acquire as much lands as quickly as possible for sighting their churches. This land is suppose to be use for the building of industrial estate for companies to engage our unemployed youth. But our so called churches have taken over our industrial lands and industrial farms.
There is should be strict policy on churches to restrict them from sighting churches in residential areas. The noise level on people living quietly in the house is just too much because of churches sighting their church near homes. Our churches should be regulated and given designated places to sight churches and not just all areas.
The Nigerian tax laws should cover our churches to ensure that our Nigerian churches pay tax as they have become too commercialised.
That is not what Jesus call the church for. Nigerians generally are tax evaders. If churches start paying tax, then all those who feel they have evaded the government tax will comply without knowing it. The money is just too much.. JESUS PAID TAX.. Matthew 17 : 27 I dey watch naija government.. ( I didn't say it ) |

Ernieman: I am utterly shocked at the comments people are making here, calling the overseer names and denting his image, I can't help but imagine the source of their bitterness towards him and his church. Is it now wrong to be a christain, to be called by God and given a mandate, to erect a church where God's people can worship? This is one man who has carved a niche for himself, loved and respected by many in Africa and beyond, a man who had a very humble beginning, loving and standing for God from his teen years, a great man of God and a gift to this generation....what has this man done to deserve so much hate and bitterness. God is no respecter of persons, He blesses whoever He so wishes to bless and He curses whoever wants to be cursed. Let us fear God and desist from uttering words or raining insults on His servants who we are not sure if they are fake or for real. David Oyedepo is a worker in God's vineyard and God has been His rewarder not any man, or even the congregation. God help us all and forgive our shortcomings. Amen. Are you God to defend him ? God will defend his own. Nothing concern me. Nah to make money. He has made his own.. |
