oga with comprehendable daftness and unlimited MB,.what was the request fashola made of GEJ?lemme answer for you.that lagos should be accorded special status.isnt that something that has been agitated for close to 10years?why should a state like bayelsa or ondo receive more allocation than lagos?rivers receives double what lagos receives as federal allocation.should that be so?why didnt jonathan address that issue?

Oh! So you have suddenly realised that you need something from GEJ abi? I thought you said GEJ was the one who needed something and your "political media" are already saying Fashola doesn't need GEJ? Why are you speaking from both sides of your mouth now?

And u think that according Lagos special status will happen if the two do not work 2geda? Sometimes I wonder how some pple reason. Making Lagos and indeed everyother state work requires close cooperation bw the state and the FG.

I just wish we can see the humility in GEJ for asking a governor for cooperation, some of us on NL are just saying things that are very usual,is Lagos not part of Nigeria?

It's obvious now that toothless dominates this web. Anybody who knows what good governance is all about won’t talk the way our president talk. What he should ask himself or what we should ask him is that has any PDP outperformed Lagos state govt.? This man love playing on Nigeria intelligent and some zombie continue making relevance from irrelevancy, I wonder why it's difficult for our people to identify mockery by those who impact them underserve predicament.

See the direct result of Fashola's poor performance in the education sector of Lagos state especially with the 250k LASU fees. You can't even put a single sensible sentence together. Smh

Politics apart, Lagos needs to get such a status that will make the Federal Government tackle part of its infrastructural problems considering the fact that the state is a microcosm of Nigeria, its population and former status as a federal capital.

This is regardless of the petty bickering of partisan politics. Whether or not the state or the federal government is ruled by PDP or ACN or ANPP or whatever party, the essence of governance is to solve the problems of underdevelopment which daily afflict every part of Nigeria.

What is GEJ really saying?

Did he just confess they've not being working together?

If yes, Y?

...and they are telling us they have the interest of the country in mind.

Our leaders should stop decieving themselves.

A President and a Governor "in 1 Nigeria" who are suppose to carry the people along together are confessing indirectly in presence of their "People" that they don't work together.

...na wa o; no wonder there is a lot of confusion in the country.

Everyone infusing their own lies to their followers making the people to have different interest at all cost.

I see Jonathan finally let the cat out of the bag, even if ACN will not rule the Country, Fashola my Mentor After Nkruma of Ghana, Jomo kenyatta of Kenya, Nelson Mandela of SA and Julius Nyeyere of Tanzania has written his name in rock not just a stone for Mr. President to recognise he`s working...

Imagine a `Fashola` ruling Nigeria? Jonathan is at variance in terms of good governance let alone a responsive one like `FASH` who will not buy into Okonjo Iweala gullible financial advice to borrow 1.1bn from China to construct 4 railways and 1 air port just last week, remove subsidy on fuel price causing national pain (rather would have asked the cabal collecting those funds in the first place to face the law instead of aboring them).

FASH won`t even compensate a lady for whatsoever to be a Minister of key sector like petroleum (the only natural resource the country is looking upto). Even the so called militant would rotten on the other side of water (Otherwise rehabilitate them for years to become humane instead of spoon feeding them).

In submission all those jombo bonus/ invisible constituency allowance in National assembly (NAS) and House of Rep. would have a permanent stoppage just like Lagos State house of Assembly, then you will see where the government funds are been spent not in papers and news because the policies of government are visible.

first i will say you do know how to read and write properly that you even forget to read your comment before posting. if you have anything against anyone address it without generalizing your post. haven't said that the topic is not about reading and writing, so please lets talk about how to move Nigeria forward, if the people leading this country are as myopic as some of us here, the country will not record any success.
