It seems many mothers feel worried knowing their sons are pro in the kitchen. I have a friend whose elder brother is in his mid 30s and still single. Guy is earning and living comfortably, so their mum went to visit him at his place. Big bro served their mum ofe achara with well prepared poundo yam, all by himself......their mum broke down and cried that with his culinary skills, she sees no daughter-in-law coming soon!

Lol. I think so. Just like they fear for an over (financially) independent daughter. Truly when a man/woman can do a lot by yourself, you become more critical of your partners. Sometimes unrealistic too, hence their worry.

My failed attempt at making hot cross buns. It tasted cool but didn't look like hot cross buns
