Manonamission:

One of the primary responsibility of a receiver to a company is to settle debts owed by the company. AFREN shareholders are the ultimate losers. Creditors are given the priority before the owners of the company.

Oh the shareholders have definitely lost out completely...

Zenith bank's lending is subordinated to that of the bondholders...at current oil prices not much will be left if the assets are sold at fair value to go Zenith after the bondholders have taken their cut and the receiver has taken his costs to sell

Anyone who wants to make it big or small in oando should be following the price of oil.Crude oil now at $44 is a positive news to oando.i expect the stock to gain up to 10% tomorrow since it closed on full bid today.

watch NAIRAMETRICS.........Very soon,he will caption.......IS THAT WHY OANDO'S SHARE PRICE IS RALLYING........

Hehehe lets go to lucrative oil stocks now before we finally miss them forever

No be only you dey pray like this oooooo. But I noticed something weird about APR. There was this directive from SEC that registrars should return unclaimed dividend back to the companies that declared them. I did not notice any significant reduction in the unclaimed dividend in their financials. Are they exempted.

This order was given to them sometime last year...

I took out time to discuss with their MD the last time I went to their office last year on how they intend to work around this and he told me that The coys have actually intimated them that they do not want to incur the cost of managing the said returned funds; with all its attendant problems of staffing a dept and even fraud that may occur in that office.

As such they have agreed for the Registrars to still hold the monies for them.

So the party goes on!
