Part of the circular reads;
"For machineries and equipment used in sectors such as agriculture, cement, hospitality, power, iron and steel, solid minerals, textile and aviation, the government, according to the circular, approved a zero import duty."...

Let's see how this measure impacts performance of companies in these sectors on the exchange from their Q1 result.

We go begin cherry picks for long term from April/May when Q1 results are out.......we need to access performances..............I see these stocks soaring this year:CCNN,DANGOTES.....SALT,FLOUR,SUGAR AND CEMENT,OTHERS ARE:Livestock,Uacn, uacn prop, oil stocks, transcorp,

Oando should pay their debt first.

That debt tends to annul every good news that comes to Oando.
The better route to exploit this crude oil lifting news is lowly Eterna.
Eterna got the same lifting alloocation as Oando...32,000 barrels daily'.
And we have a born-again Eterna.
It used to be 'chop-alone' Eterna, but is now dividend paying.

FCMB
4 hr chart
- sellers came in at 1.14
- buyers pushed back at 1.10 (new support) (remember we were coming from N1.00 prev support)
- positive sentiment in place

Daily chart
RSI at 59 , retest 60
nice set ups
20dma kissing 50dma

I cancelled the buy order when i realised the 1.14 price tag from sellers.........my bid will appear again when sellers are ready for 1.10.............we still have time to accumulate within 1.10 region............price take off in fcmb, ucap and other dividend promising stocks will commence by february.

These days nobody want to listen to Jargons.........it is either they pay their debts and clean their balance sheets or they remain where they are......If i mention people the stocks has really dealt with,i mean prominent Nigerians, you will have a rethink when you hear oando..............i still see it as one of the juju stocks of 2017.........but lets see their ability first......

I requested for a million units at 1.10 and below.........it is possible for your wife's broker to get 100,000,200,000 units at 1.10........for me i cant really say because my broker told me its not bought and i am not in town.i will be back next week to hunt for the stock.i think it will be my last buy for fcmb.............

You are right. I even do not see any major upswing in the price IF the dividend does not surpass investors' expectation....

Good luck to the Access bank team.

http://nairametrics.com/2017-outlook-presco-plc-is-too-hot-to-ignore/

A Price Earnings Ratio (P/E) ratio of 7.73 times indicates that the company may currently be undervalued going by our moderately acceptable P/E of 10x. Projected P/E ratio places Presco at an even more undervalued price suggesting that there may at least be some upside of between 10-15% in capital appreciation.

It is important to note however, that Presco’s valuation will also depend on liquidity and interest in the stock market this year. If liquidity increases as it did in December, then Presco could send investors who buy it now smiling to the bank sooner rather than later.
