I'm actually more interested in an outcome that would favour the minority shareholders.
I'm not sure which outcome favours them either grin Wale loses or wins? At the same time, I am disappointed in his contenders. They don't seem to have done their DD properly hence the reason it was easy for SEC to arrive at the decision to allow the AGM hold. More like their arguments didn't hold on technical grounds. Mangal acquired shares surreptitiously thereby flouting a rule (don't know which now). Wale claims he should have declared it and then demanded for accounts clarification if he needed one. The other guy just be like the rest of us now. Na container of shares him carry but them no sabi am for the company grin cheesy grin

In all, it's a good development for us all. More revelations of dealings expected in the coming weeks.

Disclaimer: I don't own Oando shares

bolded is exactly what i wanted also. Though i think going by antecedent wale is the better of the two devils (mangal and volpi are more vicious and dont play by rules, wale still PRETEND to play by rules).

Dont mind the contender they dont know that wrestling a prized asset / coy away from an equally smart alec wld require more than capital. it wld also require a lot of intellect (which they are failing in) . They think capital (owning shares) and brute force (regulatory / national assembly) wld do it for them

Ogas in the house. How does the Sukkuk bond issued by the Nigerian government work? This is because since the bond does not pay interest, how do investors get back their money?

The interest is called RENTAL FEE of a bit more than 16% per annum payable bi-annually.

brov how can u get this stock at the offer price N42.5 when you are not existing share holder ,,, to buy on the floor u will get it for N50.

i am looking forward to see their next report but based on Q2,,,,, i can't buy the stock at the offer price N42.5 it still at premium in my opinion despite the 17% discounts offer price report claim grin grin grin

even with the 19b profit declared no single operational cash to back it up. they need cash seriously grin

if i have UBA in my portfolio i will not sell to buy wapco based on Q2

it is my own opinion o, not a buy/sell alert grin

grin grin grin grin grin

What's the 200dma for Transcorp? It's not 1.08, is it?
