Mcy56: It depends on your understanding of kolanut. The kolanut Coolcash will drop for Agba will be very different from the kolanut Agba will request from you. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by musty00: 1:34pm On Jul 18, 2018 |
Mcy56: It will be difficult for a stock like Transcorp to move in a bearish time like this, even with a very good result (especially without interim dividend). Even the market movers (Guaranty and Zenith) could close below 39 and 23 respectively today, given current bid positions. Watching... |

Chibuking81: Your conclusion is like a doctor giving prescription based on just his opinion rather than test results. If you made enough findings on the 2014-2017 market crash, you'd discover that the impact of the elections was 10% or less. On the other hand, the impending currency crisis held more than 50% weight of the cause. Elections were concluded in Q1'15, why then did the market struggle thorough the next 8 quarters after elections. On the other hand, the currency crisis began in late 2014, remained through 2015, worsened in 2016, and was abated in Q1'17. Check the growth trend of transactions in the I&E FX window and compare with the movement in the NSE ASI, the picture will be clearer. Let me give an instance to illustrate why history may not always repeat itself. On June 25th 2016, Your wife bought you a Rolex for your birthday. ByJune 25th 2017, you expect another awesome gift from her. But you need to align your expectations with current realities. While she was a big Executive in 2016, in 2017 she's in between jobs. So it'll be foolhardy to insist that history repeats itself. Or your first son graduated with a first class degree, and his younger brother has just gotten into college. You wouldn't expect history to just repeat itself if you found that unlike his elder brother, your younger son chooses parties over classes. THE ELECTION ISH IS OVER RATED!! IT'S PROBABLY GETTING ... 2 Likes |

Agbalowomeri: It appears most of these equity fund managers invest heavily in GTB cos the moment it started sliding down, the rates on those equity based funds started nose diving. |

I have made up my mind not to sell my holdings, even if it takes 10 years for them to return to profitability. I will not sell to grave robbers like Rabbi, cp, mendes, chib and whoever keeps waiting. They can buy from others but not from me 4 Likes |
