Who takes over from the retiring CBN governor?

Our Country is not known for extolling competence into high positions........ Of all the names mentioned how i wish they could all go through a gruelling competence test before taking this positions..... I can only voice my say from interviews granted this personalities on national tv stations,,, but I wish Bismack Rewane can be given a chance, He talks like *Stone Cold Steve Austin * when discussing finance, He criticizes using a hammer to kill mosquitos especially when discussing National Finance....... Anyway CBN Governorship is not by our votes

we go chop this one first.Dont know if zenith will continue with the increase in both top/bottom lines in Q1,2019.

Don't know whether to run or stay after this dividend.

Tier 1 banks have found a way of increasing in profit year on year. 2019 Q1 of zenith at worst will be flat. It won't go lower than 2018 Q1.

Deadlytruth:

While SLS was First Bank MD, the bank had up to N200bn non-performing loan burden, but on becoming CBN governor shortly afterwards, his hammer which landed on Oceanic and others deliberately missed First Bank. Why?

Secondly, the way and manner by which SLS nationalized Bank PHB, Spring Bank and one other one betrayed a hidden agenda thus wasn't therefore about the alleged atrophying states of the banks. Recall that he had earlier set a deadline all by himself for them to recapitalize only for him to just wake up from the wrong side of his bed more than a month to that deadline and nationalize them on the exuse that even if he had waited till the deadline they still wouldn't have been able to meet up. Did he have supernatural powers or ESP? Why preempt a process set in motion by his own self without the input of anyone else?
By that action alone, shareholders of those banks lost more than the $20bn he later accused Jonathan of mismanaging.
Not that I blame him though. It was all the fault of Jonathan who tolerated anything, however evil and unwholesome, just in order to please whoever appeared to matter to his second term ambition. If not, I still can't understand why GEJ didn't sack the man for abuse of office as soon as he committed the havoc of preempting a deadline which he himself set for certain banks to recapitalize.

Interesting

Me sef dey observe. Still don't mind it falling sha, we are still ready to buy more as my board member agenda is still in play, lol.
STI is unlikely to pay dividends due to their negative retained earning. Although their ROE is solid, the stock holding should be for long term.

I dont think it's clear yet. Just ensure you register for e-dividend payment in case that's the means to be used.
