On the flip side, if actually he meant what u re-echoed(avoid stocks in stage 4), then that means that u, @ Yayira should look to stay off some coys like FIDELITY, UBA, ZENITH and GTB, and perhaps embrace coys like JAIZ BANK and OANDO.
Well, u could if u would, but definitely not onegentleguy !! wink cheesy grin
For as long as we find it 'worthy', we shall continue to permute, albeit in spasms but strategically from the select 'souvenirs' that the market is currently dishing out.
The reason why great fruits germinate at a fast pace(when they do), is because healthy seeds were planted 'in time'.
The bears, like we have now is usually a fantastic opportunity to plant such seeds !!

But then again, like u rightly said, the make-up of that post is faulty.

Exactly sir ..News started by some group of reporters ..How do you want investors to come in with uncertainty and complex system ..Even those that are in may decide to leave with their money and sell off bonds tbills stocks etc .. For example some people saying naira shld be floated , if for example its done , they will still come out and criticize the same Govt that prices of goods and services are out of control and common man is suffering
Too much drama in our country

Could it be MSCI that's buying GT and zenith today? Unusual daily volume so far.

The analysis is done on weekly basis. The one posted is for current week. By next week some of the classification will change again. Sometimes, the results do baffle me too. But the chart (with our small fundamentals behind it) is like "the gods speaking" we have no option but to obey. For example, I am currently doing the calculation in my head, can't just I buy CCNN, I know the 2nd quarter result will look good or Nigeria Breweries when it was still in the NGN70 region, but alas by now, I would have been in more pain.

We need to develop the spirit of patience these days.

The analysis is purely on technical, as Yayira likely said it's based on technical analysis. But Fundamental Analysis work better at this point in time. Sound fundamental stocks with recent history of good earning, dividend payout, with positive 2019 q1 should be consider, than forecasting the direction of prices through the study of past market data, primarily price and volume.

Gents/Ladies,

I have had to do my analysis on the ASI to determine where this market is going.

First of all, I can confirm that the ASI reversed on the week of 13th May just before the entry of MTNN. Also, since the last 2 weeks, the market had been searching for a support level, which is why I predicted a bullish week (this week) on average.

Based on results, I find 2 support lines: @ 30028.95 and 29134.47. The market is currently at the former (30028.95), hence if it moves past it, then we are gonna have sustained downtrend till the later (29134.47), which is bad news.

Hence, my opinion is, if the market does not reverse by Friday or latest Monday, then wahala dey. How you react is up to you. I am posting this here hopefully for the benefit of all.

The storm is not over yet for either side. Judicial review does not take too much time. You would be surprised that this particular case would be determined before the end of July.
Slip wey go cut, go still cut. If you know, you know. But if you no know, go ask ihedi

Better minus the impact of MTN from your analysis then you will realise ASI is actually below 28,000

Dangote Cement mirrors the market index AKA ASI, and I see the same behaviour in DangCem. Hence, I am confident that the index protrays the true health of the market, irrespective of MTNN.

DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 14 JUNE 2019

MSCI reported no movement in portfolio for 13 June 2019.

Market still down at stage 1, both short and long timeframe are down. Still a time to be patient and wait for the few opportunities that will show up. Support still fairly out of sight at around 28,854.05

We continue with our stage analysis. What should be noted is that identifying the stage is one of the steps to know what to buy or sell. Final decision is made after considering some other criteria like fundamentals, chart patterns, issues of impact that may derail our fundamentals/technical analysis etc.

However on the whole the stage analysis can serve as our initial filter (for example, I want to run away from stage 4 till I see "blood in the street or free money lying on the ground kind of situation).

On the whole I will say our forum is improving looking at the genuine observations/criticism people has made without using any abusive language, this is great and will be a further encouragement for all of us to contribute our quota in those areas we have an edge. Let us keep this up, to encourage people to come up with more ideas that can help us make profit in this though market.

You can see the last week full stage analysis postage on our twitter page around Friday last week. Once a while we will post everything on the twitter page. looking at just one part like the stage analysis alone is like half knowledge (very dangerous), the critical part is the remarks/technical analysis part.

Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). This document remains the personal property of Target technical analysis (https://twitter.com/AnalysisTarget) and is not to be distributed without our authorization.
