Well notore has been in existence for a very long time in onne , Rivers.

It is not a well managed company. I wonder how they show up on NSE.

Corporate governance is next to notting

emmanuelewumi:

The trio that run the show at Ocean and Oil, Oando are Wale, Mofe and Jite.

Jite still has his shareholdings in Ocean and Oil, the parent company of Oando. Jite left Ocean and Oil about 3 years ago or thereabout to start Notore Chemical

There will be improvement only when the pay at least 30% of their earning as dividend, not 10%.

Because paying 10% is a sign that earning improvement is only on paper ( manipulation) not in reality.

How will you earn #1 and pay 10 or 15 kobo even 20 kobo? It's fraudulent act. Zenith make at times #6, and pay close to #3. That's 50 %. Upon that they will still improve in their earning come next final year.

Fidelity and FCMB should change, always visiting #1.50 every year is as a sign that the earning they always reports is questionable. They should pay us a good dividend.

I was all on smile reading through the article. cheesy cheesy

Hear this;
Some part of this report might well be a crafted attempt aimed at buying up/accumulating LARFAGE WAPCO from u, and possibly selling BUA CEMENT to u.
Put differently, it was perhaps designed to get u to give up ur stake(for those already in) on the former, in belief that the latter(bua) can offer u more VALUE than it(larfage)

Folks will recall the post above.
Pls do well to be guided accordingly.
Remember;

"If u desire to fair well in the stock market , then LISTEN to the 'songs' of the leader herds and analyst alike, but pay more ATTENTION to their dance steps.
...It's a good way to Interpret their 'lyrics and choruses', and an even better way to measure the 'rhythm and heartbeat' of the market."

Those who know and understand, know what they they ought to do.
Salah

Confirm if they have fully factored in the Spinoff of the South African unit from the group.

At least in this 2019 YE report, the SA unit must still show until the company changes its name from Larfage Africa back to Larfage Wapco or any other name.

If the Corona virus continues to spread, more countries will ban flights from China or persons who have travelled to China. This will definitely affect trade and oil prices.

If the crisis goes into summer period (increased travel and shopping seasons) , this will be disastrous for the world economies. Then lots of countries with enter into recession.

In Paris, shop owners are complaining that Chinese tourist not coming last week during their new year holiday is affecting sales.

This automatically means that flights frequency will be reduced.

Manufacturers who produce goods to meet that demand are holding unsold goods.

Then extrapolate it such that this continues and you understand the magnitude to air travel, trade, tourism, manufacturing.

My dear, to your tent o Israel!.
