The stock has been on my radar for sometimes now. I was waiting for the price to drop but unfortunately I chickened out at my target entry price thinking price would drop lower....

To avoid missing out such opportunities why not buy in tranches. When your target purchase price is met you can but a bit and observe the price movement. If it drops more you buy, if it rallies you haven't lost out completely.
