If you’re a long term investor, there’s no cause for alarm. Zenith is about the healthiest bank in the NSE.
If you’re short term, keep your eyes on the market, once there is a slight rebound in prices, sell-off, count your losses, and put your money in one of the sound stocks with good fundamentals.
No one saw this coming.
Do I have any other option than to be a long term investors and wait it out? I intend buying more to average down but the big question is, when do one start buying with the prices deeping lower each passing day?

Anyone playing this should just do it on very short term.
That UBA makes sense sha. Those that bought at 5.65 will collect their dividend on the floor, or chop dividend and still sell with some change. smiley

Wealth transfer...Wealth transfer...Earning seasons would soon be over and nothing left to lift prices.

That is when the real fall would come. Nobody should come and cry here.

Did anyone notice that it’s mostly the banking stocks that are taking the bashing.

I selfishly pray this doesn’t go round the other sectors.

I completely agree with you on this.....best time to buy

There will likely be slight reversal today on some stocks. Tomorrow, most stocks might be on bid.

Pick your stocks now. Don't come and crying tomorrow. I said this earlier today. Tomorrow, most doors will likely be closed.

GT and Zee still have high offers, thus making it difficult for others to move.

Day 1 of failed reversal point. It's safer to go for the 2nd window than the first one.

I could be wrong.

The volumes are excess. There is something chasing them. I will advise we hold cash more.

I learnt that there is liquidity concern after the selloff in Dow and other markets around the world.

The concern could brew into another issue in the US.

UBA is yet to break its 2019 low. Zenith is yet to break its low.

Dangote cement as well.

More falls still possible.

The move in the US futures (rise) and world markets today is due to Trump announcing cuts in salary taxes. This is a small breather but it won't fly.

Once markets start testing 2% fall.... Then 3% fall.... Then 5% fall.... Then 7% fall.... The next one will be scattering.

It is because the Coronavirus has now made Zenith Bank a candidate of N13. Zenith Bank is never a stock of N13. if we get to buy at this price, we will look for money and buy. if it gets to N10, we will buy more. We are not going to panic because NSE is losing points. Congratulations to those who are loaded in cash.

It didn't take long to get to N13.
