I also observed a queer behaviour in caverton. The price will open at 1.81, traverse all maner of prices, and close at 1.81, everyday!
I tried to buy it at 1.81 without success for two weeks, until i decided to leave my bid open for a period of two weeks. The bid was probably filled during opening or closing period.
It was as if stock bid and purchase was another human being that was playing a chess game with me!

Please note that those deals you see some of them are cross deals and it will still be reported as buy and sell on the NGX this also influence the stock and market movement.

The movement of stock prices always react to demand and supply but mind you it's traders and investors' attitude that determines the demand and supply; that attitude you may not be able to determine or measure at a particular time. Those observations of yours doesn't mean any manipulation per se.

The year I started active trading, wish I knew what I know now about stocks during pandemic last year. I don't think that season will show up anytime soon again. Imagine me buying nestle at that time at 700+ and selling when I saw 800+ grin

So long as you have learnt your lesson and didn't lose money, you'd live to find another opportunity to make better decisions given similar market conditions.

Not really. It depends on the type of help and sometimes method and circumstances surrounding the asking and the place of asking

You never define your objective here.
I know you will be forced to leave this thread at the end of the day.

I asked last time concerning all these fake claims, is it the purpose of this thread?

You better have a rethink of mind and start posting stock market related comments; if not, you are OYO here.

Hi guys

I received an email to subscribe for NPF right issue at 1.50. Is it advisable to subscribe for the offer or wait and buy on the floor of the exchange since the shares will be diluted afterwards?

The offer price of N1.50 is a fair deal as the company has been consistent in dividend payments and has prospects.

Also NPF PLC is operating a quasi-commercial bank as they have branches across the nation.

Thanks. I don't the soundness of the bank. My concern is the likelihood of the price falling below the offer price. Do you think it won't fall?

I am firmly in this bandwangon. I mean the performance of that bank in the last two decades is spectacular. When Aig Imoukhuede and Herbert Wigwe bought the bank around 2005 it was the 64th bank in the country and it is now top 5 in almost all metrics. Aig did a great job as MD and made the plans with Herbert Wigwe to continue and stay on the successful path. They are still aggressively chasing growth and buying up many many companies.

I can't say too much about their financials, but I firmly believe in the current leadership and their ability to create success and I'm happy to put my money on even just that belief alone
