It might actually be less than 1 million considering that less than 3 million Nigerians have 500k and above in their bank accounts irrespective of number of accounts based on bvn

According to SEC, about 5% of the population have investments in the capital market.

You can start Investing in the capital market with as little as N5000.

That will be about 10 million people.
Can you please provide a link to support this assertion as I seriously doubt that figure.

It is the cheapest in the sector, followed by Dangote cement then BUA cement
With due respect, I assume ur metric is based on stock price(not product price). Hence, I think BUA should be cheaper than DangoteCem in that order.
Just for clarity sir if I am not mistaken. Just trying to learn and build confidence and firm assertion around it.
We all value your input here sir!

Hi guys,

Please what is the best entry price for UACN without the unbundling?

I am assessing whether to purchase more UACN shares at current price and will appreciate your opinions.

According to the report it was 230,000 Nigerians that invested in Mutual funds in 2010 with a total asset under management of about N100 billion.

Fast forward to 2021 about 500,000 Nigerians now have investments in Mutual funds with a total asset under management of over N1.5 Trillion

It be safe to say if 5 million invested in the capital market when the population was 150 million

With the numerous investment education by SEC, NSE, Stockbrokers and stock trading apps, coupled with increase in the population the conservative estimate should be 8 million.

Yes, very common in a bull market when speculators are in full action.

All unaudited Q2 results has latest 31st of July to be released while audited has 31st August as the last day.
The Zenith result and the remaining banks results are all audited.

The result is audited interim result, it has pass through the CBN already hence the delay

Why are you buying? Is it for capital appreciation or income.

Income increased by just 60% in the last 10 years, which is not good enough

Meaning an investor who got a dividend of 100k in 2011 got just 160k in 2021

Thank you i am always a long time investor ...any shares i can look at that you can suggest

Haba, it is audited. Banks that pay interim dividends must have their H1 results audited
