The title is misleading. It should be read as Ahmed Fahan, a social justice advocate, wrote an open petition to President Tinubu against Dangote.

Airtel cant raise more than 500 million additional shares valued at about N800 billion

I think they can raise some money if their share price goes down to, say, triple digits.

An alternative would be to issue bonus shares or rights to existing shareholders.

Either way, their outstanding shares should go up.

It doesn't have to be 500 million shares at once, but in tranches.

Lol, don't mind them. There is no evidence to show that his letter was received and acknowledged, which is usually stamped and signed with a date.

Trying to let you know that the outstanding shares of Airtel Africa will always be 25% or below of the over 20 billion outstanding shares of MTN

The solution is to encourage local production and consumption. We spend too much in dollars like say Na we dey print am. The Government should ensure adequate and affordable power, then ensure we refine 100% of crude oil needs here, etc.

The worst I've seen you do was to deactivate your handle! angry
Why do such a thing?
You shouldn't have expected everyone to have same belief as you, and some will just come and post what they like with no basis at all.

See the post above for instance lipsrsealed

Some of us do read and even share your posts due to some wealth of information contained therein.

Imagine if the likes of Oga Wanaj0 and other ogas that have long visited here should delete their handles?? No be wickedness be that? Cos their posts can pass for more than 10 investment books combined ......

When Loco picked Transcorp, he spoke well about it, when he sold, he started posting opposite of what he ealier said........you shouldn't have allow these things to get to you at all.... undecided

As for Transcorp, like you said, it's a combination of growth and value, any patient ones who can wait it out will gain much from it.

Pls try and re-register......and learn to ignore some posts/comments.

πŸŸͺ Good morning everyone. What’s the best way to get access to the proposed Dangote Food shares, is it through investing in Dangote Sugar or NASCON?

Many thanks

* If it's less than 100k, you can withdraw tomorrow........but if it's above, you should be able to withdraw it on Thursday.......Time + 2/3days...

* There's a withdrawal button once you click the small icon at the left upper corner......"ATM- Withdrawal Request"......click it and fill in the amount you wish to withdraw and confirm it.
* You'll receive it in your bank account before COB.

The low it needs to go is this you are seeing. After Q3 result, it will climb to #2 that is if result is good but from the works on ground is pointing to a positive Q3 result.

A good price for that stock is below 1.18. Keep spare money to average down whenever it dips by more than 10% from 1.18. Did we not see a 30% dip that took it to 1.17 last moth alone. Even if the stock profits bountifully, Mr. Makanjuola will first recover the N5.16 billion loss before thinking of doing the investors well. undecided
