Tribalism usually thrives were resource distribution is questioned or disputed. Racism needs migration to thrive. So with this distinction, Tribalism is were a balance or stalemate occurs between neighboring clans, cultures, etc. For Racism there should be an overwhelming disproportion of population between races since one group should dominate the other in terms of population, and cultural proliferation within the society were racism is observed. So with this in mind, racism is used to remind a minority immigrant population of their difference while tribalism exist to compete for resources and always if not checked - as history has shown- lead to genocide.

There is a huge flaw in this because if it's evolution we are talking about, apart from the khoi-sans who are said to be the oldest, many africans are mixed. If the khoi-sans decide to keep themselves pure by killing the mix Africans, what does it mean? Are they being racist or tribalist?

It's very myopic to limit tribalism to just territorial issues. Why is tribalism about territory and racism isn't?

I'm a woman and I have to say she got it coming. First of all I have zero tolerance for men who hit women. But at the same time,as a woman that doesn't mean you should act out of order or use that as a leverage to be unruly.

Infact this has always been my line of thought, why should racism always be defined as coming from white to black? Why can't it be the other way round? By getting angry at 'racist' remarks against blacks we are indirectly accepting that we are the 'lower' race. I think this should stop, and I think its high time we blacks coin a name for this white lemons and it will be interesting to read the headline say 'kenyan man charged with racist remarks against a british man'.
