Exactly where the problem came from. Nigerians do not know the importance (and implications) of signing documents

I am sure he will never do that again after this kinda embarrassment . .

I am not sure if i do agree with that conclusion . . . Most people that get married (Church Wedding) they must have some money at least, so i will say more have a car, but just want something better for their wedding, however, i will be with you on the deal of "bad to borrow" money to get married, cos paying back of that money will be the end of that marriage.

There are loads who don't have cars n borrow or rent for the wedding and there are also those who borrow heavily for wedding with the notion its once in a lifetime and they would pay back.

Same country I see new couples renting homes of over a million a year and have four cars packed in their garage. Plenty misplaced priorities.

So, what are u saying in essence? What if they don't own a car? Should they trek? Some things are just unimaginable abeg. Let's be realistic!
Its better to trek to a wedding, and everyone will know your real assets, than to fake it all, and return the car the next day. Why lay a foundation of borrowing for a life-long marriage because of just one day

Heyya, it would have been very very embarrassing for the young couple. What will rumour-mongers say?

I pray God blesses them with their own car and every other comfort they need.

There is nothing bad in borrowing a ride, but what I disapprove of, is borrowing money for weddings. Its so wrong. You can have a nice wedding even with a small gathering of 50 to 100 guests and you go home with peace and rest of mind.. than having someone breathing down your neck.
