Genbuhari should change his name to abacha, the only credit Abacha can take relates to infrastructure and the economy, apart from that, he was a killer and too paranoid.

Ok, Apart from assassinations of Kudirat Abiola and Pastor Rewane, neither of which I doubt Abacha carried out ( He did not have to engage in assassinations he would lock people up if they became a nuisance), what other political assassinations can you recall?

bonetalk: it is not called MB, It's called Internet data or Bandswitch. Mb(megabyte) is the amount of data or bandswitch you have on your smartphone, tablet or pc to surf the internet and it could as well be measured in kb(kilobyte), giggerbyte etc

It appears that you are very ignorant or can't find another way to earn a living. How much is the Abacha family paying you for this PR work?

Abacha killed Admiral Omotehinwa, YaraAdua senior. What about the officers who disappeared and have never been seen since?

What about failed attempted assasinations of Ibru, Abraham Adesanya, Alani Akinriade, Gani etc.?

What about many NADECO chieftains who fled to avoid his gunmen?

Something must be wrong with you to state 'apart from the assassinations of Kudirat Abiola and Pastor Rewane,'. A head of state was murdering his citizens so that he stays in power for ever and you are belittling their deaths. Should anyone die because a bastard refuge wants to stay in power for ever? Was Abacha even from Nigeria? Was the mad man not from Chad?

And before you come back with your list of how many folks OBJ may have killed, you can shove that list up your a*** hole. No one cares about OBJ let alone accept the fact that OBJ's misdeeds do not delete Abacha's sins.

You are soiling the name of a great person in Buhari by persisting with this dumbfounding, ludicrous, and silly defense of Abacha.

One good thing i like of Abacha is, any time he comes out, Yorubas will immediately took to their Heels and Ran into thick forest of Ogun and ondo,
Too difficult for Abacha to find them when they ran inside Ogun and Ondo forest

What can you do when you findout his name, apart from lying and crying like your general diya? We know those with liver.

One minute "I was scared that BAMAIYIS would kill me had i reported that there was a coup plot"

The next minute "No it was a plot to eliminate me and my Yoruba officers" - GENERAL OLADIPO DIYA.

One evidence of Ibo bravery was Ojukus flight to Abidjan when Adekunle brought the war to his doorsteps.

Another one was killing civilian men and their wifes on their bed

I threw the challenge to one of them on this thread yesterday and he was blabbing about how Nzeogwu murdered several defenceless civilians on their beds as an act of bravery!
These people brag about their non existent bravery, there is no record of any extraordinary bravery of these people yet they won't stop boasting.

Bravery is killing rivals or opponents in bed with their wives but hiding when everyone is awake. Everyone is aware of what happened in the January 1966 coup. The July 66 by the Northerners was the revenge coup. The January coup lasted a few hours while the July coup went on for three days. During the July coup for three days, there were four officers at Army HQ, surrounded by Northern soldiers, who tried unsuccessfully to put down the coup because they had no loyal soldiers - Ogundipe, Admiral Adewale Way, Col Anwunah, and Major Mobolaji Johnson. There were approximately 3300 (similar numbers to the Northerners) Igbo soldiers in the Army but the Northerners killed approximately 200. Where were the other 3000 Igbo soldiers who could have given support to Ogundipe to suppress the coup? We know Ojukwu encouraged Ogundipe to keep fighting while he himself ran from Enugu (that had a Division) to Nnewi.

I guess everyone's definition of bravery is different.

A nutritionist who recently joined the race, his death is linked to the intra-party crisis, which has thrown up political enemies after the death of the third term agenda in the state. He was stabbed, shot and hacked to death.

On July 16, 2005 unknown gunmen killed Alhaji Lateef (alias Lati Osogbo) a close associate of the strongman of Ibadan politics, Alhaji Lamidi Adebibu, in Ibadan.

Alhaji Sulaimon Olajokun

Unknown assailants in Lagos killed Dele Arojo a PDP gubernatorial aspirant on November 25, 2002.

On December 19, 2001, Mr. Odunayo Olagbaju, a member of the Osun State House of Assembly, was killed in front of the Moore police station, Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Ahmed Sardauna, chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State also fell to the assassin’s bullet in 2003

A chairmanship aspirant on the platform of Action Congress (AC), in Ward II of Ibadan South East Local Government area of Oyo State, Hon. Taiwo Falade, was also murdered by gunmen at his Odo-Oba, Ibadan, residence.

A key member of the legal team of Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, in the election petition case over the 2007 election, is also dead. He died after being set ablaze by unknown assassins.

Mr. Jonathan Adebisi Ogundere, who was the oldest lawyer in the team, was abducted from his country home in Oyan, Odo Otin Local Government Area by some people, who drove him to a village called Igbotele and set him ablaze.

There is a screw loose in your head.

Assassinations committed during OBJ's era is not the same as OBJ being behind the assassinations. I didn't for once suggest or imply that the names I mentioned were the only ones assassinated during Abacha's tenure. I merely mentioned those that were allegedly killed by Abacha.

I am not surprised about your reasons for the deaths of Yaradua and Omotehinwa, the money probably paid into your account ensures you report it as such.

Those paying don't have better things to do with their money or they can't smarter, better, and more intelligent folks to employ. Only an idiot would compare assassinations bankrolled by a number of different people to those compared by one man.

OP must be so sick in the head for comparing numbers of assassinations of one regime to the other, life is sacred so even killing just one person is as bad as killing 20. @OP what is your life worth? at least if you're killed it will only be you, that wouldn't be too bad isn't it?

When has allegedly becomes a fact? If those were allegedly killed by Abacha, just because it happened under his govt, why can't it be equally allegedly killed by OBJ with hundreds murdered under his govt?
The West use to control the Nigeria press, they can say whatever they like about their foe like Abacha and it will stick. And not that Abacha doesn't deserve it.

And how does that change the fact that an ibo has never been executive president of this country and will never be for obvious reasons?

If an Igbo has not been president and still the zone is ahead of others in most indices, who knows how it will be if they also control the government and if federal character is applied. They are thriving without power, giving them power government power is an overkill. Make una dey rule, we are laughing o grin

What does tribe have to be do with performance? Its the same nonsense people were saying about the composition of the Super Eagles.
The list you refer to has 2 Generals of Yoruba origin.
What does it matter where a person comes from?

Thats one thing thats killing Nigeria.

In Ghana-everyone speaks Twi-even though there are at least 5 other languages.

In the USA-white people voted for a black man to become President.

Why do you judge a person just by looking at his name.

Name anyone who will dispute the greatness and integrity of Ishola Williams or the militay tactics of Adekunle Benjamin.

Kaduna Nzegowu was Ibo and he was a great soldier.

Joshua Dongoyaro is Hausa and is by all accounts a great general.

Maxwell Khobe is from the Middle Belt or South South ( not sure)-he led Nigeria to do what no other country except Nigeria has ever done on Earth-single handedly intervene in a country that is in the midst of war-restore order and governance. The USA did it with NATO in Yugoslavia and Germany-and in every other instance -it was done by a combination of countriies.

I dream of the day-when my children and yours, my brothers and yours-will be judged not by the tribal origin, the color of the skin,or the name they bear-but by the content of the character and work of their hands. ( apologies to MLK)
