You mean to evaluate your transcript by wes? Well, that's not a must. It depends on your school. Ask them if they want external evaluation (such from wes) or if they do it by themselves.

What method did your school use in shipping the i-20 package to you?

Is it By Regular mail E.g NIPOST.

OR Through a Courier service like; FedEx, DHL, TNT, EMS, UPS e.t.c.

Which one of the above mentioned did u use?

It depend on the school you want to apply to, some schools accept transcript and will do internal evaluation themselves while others will ask u to evaluation your transcript from WES, ECE n co. All other documents should go straight to you school.
You can confirm from your school what they want before sending any documents out.

You are in for long thing(wait), when was it sent I mean the date. Receiving documents from abroad with Nipost is a very big issue, btw 3-6wks you will receive it sha. Keep praying bro, that's what I can tell you.

Just last week and you're already complaining. . It took 3 weeks to deliver a package from my school(US) to nearby Canada. Not to talk of US to Nigeria.

Relax your nerves, ok. Expect your mail in about a month's time.

Pally relax your mind, you will receive in 4-5wks, thank God you have not book your appointment. Is better to use courier for I-20 because the documents is very important. Nipost is no go area in you are in hurry.

Is that not some kind of certificate studies or training (M1/J1) but not MS degree(F1)?

Yes BigFrancis from a B.Eng to MS in Computer Science but they want me to go through the postbaccalaureate thing.. Though i already have some highly recognized I.T Certifications.. The postbaccalaureate tingy isn't the problem but the Visa chances is my concern..

I keep telling you guys times without Number to always use a Courier service like FedEx, DHL, UPS Or TNT to receive a vital document such as your i-20 package from the US..

Nipost is NOT Reliable for receiving packages from the US. Many packages get Lost on transit by this means. Just hope and pray your case is different.

But Since you have used Nipost already, you have to wait for a Minimum of ATLEAST 5 weeks before it gets here..

And also let me give you this clue, Make sure you keep checking the nearest NIPOST Close to your home and let em Know you are Expecting a Package from the US.

If possible, Collect the Contact no of one of the Post Office Officials and keep calling them on Phone to make enquiry on your pacakage, to know if it has Arrived.

Don't just stay @ home and cross your two legs and wait for your package. You need to make a move as well, So your package shouldn't be Abandoned @ the Post Office. They might likely NOT deliver your package to your home address early.

And make sure you also tip the Post Office Official for this service so that the help can be rendered to you as efficient as posssible.

Now I've gotten two university that i want to apply to, university of Toledo and mid tennessy state university. My fear remains my B.Eng degree grade which is a 2.80 ( a.2/2) and my not too gud GRE score,149verbal and 155quantitative.I wish to apply for MS in Computer Science Engineering
I'm also seriously in need of graduate assistantship to support my tuition, but my low CGPA and not too gud GRE score is giving me serious concern. Pls,advice me on wat to do
