As per saalary, no officer earns less than 180k thaat was what he told me, that is the least for a second liutenant though he wasn't specific on the amount.so u need not worry the pay is good.

I ve not been participating actively by commenting on this thread because of the abusive language pple use here.when i said the list cannot come out before 20th of august,pple were calling me names. i also said that training ll likely start by january and i was hurled with insults.the discussion is now about salary.though those guys might be secretive but i can authoritatively say that some corp earn more than others eg doctors lawyers pilots.a pilot officer who is a pilot trainee earns above 300k after passing out from nda (though other pilot officers who re not specialists earns less) ,a full fledged winged pilot who is a flying officer earns close to 800k plus allowances.a medical doctor earns close to 500k while a consultant earns 800k.my friend told his confidant he earns 288k per month.he is a flying officer(all allowances included and he s not a specialist,he read phe.)i dont know of a second lieutenant but i know what police officers with one star earns...170k(not a specialist)so i believe the army equivalent will be up to 190k plus.thanks

Bros lock up for salary issues, those men were actually belittling the military salary scale so that people would believe they are not joining for money but passion. Every nigerian heard about the crazy increment of the military salary jonathan did around Nov 2011. The pay is damn good,if the pay is bad, why would i be dreaming of becoming an NA/NN officer, am only looking for more money and power fvck passion coz i may not even spend up to that 10years. But bros one star police officer earns 135k not 170 while one star NA officer earns 168k. Am not in for arguement, i only drop my opinion.

NYSC passes out 17th of nxt month, so xpect the list anything from 17th Sept.ibelieve that is wot is holding the list, one Baba olowo pikin bin apply but he's still serving...just my personal guess pls so don't crucify me.

Did you just say a 2star general earning 500k? If yes you're missing it, as at 2010 before the review, a 2star general earned nothing less than 750k after the review, jonathan govt increased it to 968k almost a mil. Am not guessing, i did a lot of research on their salary scale before buying their forms. Am a lover of money and power. Bro the pay is awesome, believe me wen i say that.

Bros read his post well. He said major not major general. Besides no body belittled the armed forces salary. People only countered the bogus figures being posted. U already posted the right estimate. I was wondering too when I saw 170k for 1star police. Learnt 'oga @ the top' people earns a little more than the police too.(I have no confirmation for this though)

oh! My bad, i didn't get the post well. Yeah he's right...ofcourse civil defence officer earn more than police officer, i think the figure i put up there should goes to civil defence officer, one star police officer is not earning up to 135, i think their salary should be between 110 to 115.

Nw 4 d salary structure ,every man diffrnt frm d oda,jst like d NYSC state allowance,sm state pay higher dan odas,so wher u posted to to sm large extent determine hw much revenue income u yield,it very difficult to measure salary scale in civil service aside d junior staffs,U can go all ad on wtout geting @ a particular destination,wen u get in there u fnd out u aswell can't dish out ur salary scale 2 anoda,

This year recruitment would be in two batches i.e batch A and B. This is as a result of the new divisions in some part of the country like Borno etc. So there would be an increase in the enlistment this year like 8-10. I feel some of the people saying January are partially right but the truth is that there is still going to be the list this year. This year's recruitment look like that of last year airforce recruitment. The good news is that chances of beem enlisted is high! Over 80,000 applied into the NA this year. I got this piece of info from a very reliable source this morning in my quest to know the actual reason for the delay. I just stepped out of Divison II Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment here in Ibadan. Let's keep the faith alive!!!

i agree with yu bros,last year i was opportuned to see the loan application of a major serving in PHC...what he stated in the bank form was 311,000 as his pay..EOD..

I ve a friend who is a police officer and I even took time to ask him cos of all this argument.what I meant is plus allowances.it might interest u 2 know that specialists among them re paid differently. let me explain a scenario to you, An uncle of mine got a job with Ekiti state govt in the ministry and was paid 30k as at 2009 while his colleague that is an health worker i.e health inspectors earns 78k.........think deep
