GMAT is acronym for general method aptitude test. It is a test book use by most employers to test your psychometrics skills and your ability to think and make right decision. It contains advanced quantitative aptitude tests, verbal aptitude tests, diagrammatic reasoning tests, management skills tests, engineerings skill test and psychometric test.

Is this the same COAS who, barely 2 weeks ago, made a readjustment in the process by stipulating that aptitude tests will determine names of applicants to be shortlisted, starting from this year? Even Lt SMT hinted at this in his post. From what I gathered, the COAS wasn't too pleased with the quality of cadets who passed out recently as officers saying (I'm quoting my source now) that some of them could not even express themselves properly. Whatever the case, it won't hurt to dust up those GMAT textbooks and start doing some practice.

Well, first off, my source is not web-based. I actually got my information from a Brigade Commander here in my State; we spoke on the phone and he explained the COAS' position on the current DSSC recruitment process. Just because it wasn't reported doesn't mean it wasn't uttered. An old classmate of mine working in the NDA confirmed this (and even he didn't initially know!). He however expressed doubts as to the tests holding this year, due mostly to the fact that no known preparations have been made, and time is ticking. By the way, the links you posted do not relate to recruitment but rather refers to senior officers' promotions. Perhaps you had other web links in mind?

For real? I assume your source is authoritative, because nothing would make me happier. I can't remember the last time I prepared hard for any form of recruitment. And 10th of June? That's too close for comfort O!

is the aptitude test apply to both dssc and ssc? Coz i am ssc and my source might be feeding me base on ssc info. But i believe something like dat is not happening this year. Coz ssc list would be ready anytime soon so i bliv dssc list is also on the move. Anywayz let all keep our fingers crossed. All is well my broda.

Well, just to add to what have been discussed earlier. I was told to check the Punch and Vanguard next week wednesday for list. A lieutenant who just returned from course from JAJI told me that yesterday. He said "all is set for the screening to begin in earnest"

GOD is my source. My broda, according to d history, and my friend in Kaduna, d name would be out on 10 or letest 17th of dis month. U can start d preparation now.
D name came out last yr after just 21 days of d closure of applicatn, and it has been like that, dis yr cant be an exception.
My immidiate header broda did not prepare atall, infact he did'nt know that there would be edurance race, yet God helped him to be among the regular intake in 2011 without knowing anybody.
