Did you know what they suffered before they came to illyrio? viserys was forced to sell their mothers crown so they could eat. they begged from castle to castle until they came to illyrio's mance. I also know illyrio did not behave like they other magisters because varys had probably told him to take them in.

Is that article from The Onion or another one of those stupid clickbait stories? Any third rate blog can just make up stuff and post it on the Internet and say it's what the Showrunners confirmed. I read so much bullsh!t on sites like Inquisitr last season and almost none of them ended up being true. BTW, why would D & D confirm something that seems to be a major plot point(if it's actually true) so early in the season. HBO would never even allow it. Not to talk of the time frame, unless there's a major time skip in the series(very unlikely to happen mid-season but probably in the last episode which Daenerys may not even be in because the actress basically alluded to her character's death) there's just not enough time for Daenerys to be giving birth to any children.

Before the doom of Valyria, there were many other families who had dragons and where stronger than the Targaryens. It was Aenar Targaryen (Aenar the Exile) who moved the Targaryens and their dragons from Valyria to the smoking mountain (Dragonstone). This was after his daughter Daenys (the dreamer) foretold the doom awaiting Valyria twelve years prior. That is why the Targaryens are the dragonlords that much is known about cause they survived where the others perished with their dragons in Valyria.

Samwell tarly was overlooked by a white walker when the men of the night watch went beyond the wall to find out why the wildlings were running. not in S1E1 though.
