You are orator, but you talk too much If someone fails doesn't mean everybody will fail, i tell you we have different style of thinking and way of life. Believe me,you can make it anywhere once you are destined to make it there. I could see you really believe in yourself and future plans, infact, that's good spirit in you but i disagree with you saying that those who are going abroad to study Management courses don't normally make it and they end up with negative stories. My greatest concern is how people believe in future and destiny, someone asked you how do you know you are going to make it in Russia, which i think you hold on your destiny and ability to make it. So, how could you say any other professions apart from Medicine, Engineering and Info tech cannot make it in life? And we haven't seen an Engineer ends up frustrated and jobless Stop generalising, people don't have the same destiny. Above all, seek God guidance before anything. Cheers

Please you don't have any proof, you are just talking only with your imagine. How could come about the percentage of 50/50? Besides, who told you studying Management abroad is not worth it? And Nigeria, Ghana and Benin are the countries good for Management courses? Lol. Go to other related threads to state all these. The bolded part is applicable to everybody regardless of courses, so don't even underrate any course.

This the first time am commenting on dis particuLar thread infact what got my attention was d' vabocity with which u are defending and eulogising russia I really commend ur spirit, a proverb says its only d' wise man that collects d aggregate views of men wether palactable or not sieves them and learn from them, but if i may ask in which city is ur school located is it in moscow or saint pertersburg, if it is in any of this cities u might turn out a little ok, if i may ask also are u going to sturdy and make all those lofty reserches u intend to undertake with russian language, if so hmmmmmmmm i encourage u but i must be quick to advise that u shield ur confrontational views and try to make some friends that might link u up with more people dat might be able to render u with assistance, a little background about me i sturdied in russia, i learnt d' langauge and i was though arguable one of the best in the language faculty for that year so if tell u dat d' language get as e be abeg bros believe, there is a diffrence in understanding d' langauge for casual speacking and using it for reserch work, am not amoung dooms day posters but wisdom is profitable for direction. RUSSIA IS HARD, if u dont have a support from home, then you will be in a more critical situation..russia is hard....russia prison is hell,for those who may want to involve in drugs and cyber crimes....RUSSIA PRISON IS HELL...this place is not for cowards....i keep saying it, russia is not for cowards...there must always be a way when people think there is no way....it is a state system of govt, u can hardly migrate to another state, if ur visa read tomk, tula, rostov..etc..u must return back to naija and reapply for another visa if u want to relocate to another city like moscow, st petersburg..etc...as a students, u cannot work here, if u ar caught by the immigration or police, ur situation wil be more critical.....russia is okay for study purpose, u wil cry if ur hope is to come here and work...u go eat bread u go tire....russia is a big trap for hustlers..good place for study purpose...no violence like those days, stay away from 16 to 23yrs old girls...discipline urself ...me no send anybody here..na red eye things..I SPEAK WITH FACT AND POINT.. Can they pay there school fees with that work??...remember dat moscow is expensive city, those state u listed above are expensive to live...when you talk abt visit visa during summer,well, it is certain for the consular to issue visa if you have solid documents from the person\organization that is inviting you...but na 50...50, because most of those given visa never return back to russia, all the consulars here knows abt all dis tricks from naija abt visiting western countries just for holiday and they will never return back ...you know nothing abt russia, u only talk sweet ...russia is not a destination for hustlers.....your situation will become more critical if u end to marry a russia lady out of frustration, then it is sure u will be in russia for years, yes because u dont have money to buy ticket and visit ur parents in naija...russia is not a place for cowards..when i speak, i speak wit fact and point..

Hey guys I need help. I am seriously considering going to Russia for a Ph.D Electrical Engineering programme. The reason is that it is cheaper than the West and for a faculty like Electrical Engineering, i will be exposed to the best standards.i am however disturbed at the stories I keep hearing about Russia. Everybody seems to be saying something different. PLease i need people who have studied or are studying in Russia to help me.
Where is the best place to study for a programme like Ph.D electrical engineering.
I do have support from home and I do not plan to stay after my study. i just want to earn the Ph.D and move back to Nigeria.
In terms of cost and exposure and living expenses, which schools can I target to give the best experience. i do not want to study in Russia o . Though i donot mind learning the language. Kindly direct me all. I am 26 years old now and have B.tech and M.ENG Electrical Engineering from two different Nigerian Universities, Thanks.
