I wanted to say the colonel,but since you said "Someone--only one person" then it cant be the colonel because if Tawo kills the Colonel,Ahmed will also kill Tawo, So it should be "people will die"..

Tawo cant kill the colonel and go free without Ahmed taking him down--- Ahmed loves the colonel to the bone so anyone who kills him will not escape his wrath..

Tawo is dead!! Colonel will die but in the hands of the General. Both the general and colonel will kill eachother..
