Uyi Iredia:

My switch to deism and the need to be entirely sure of what I'm into or leaving given my knowledge at this point in my life.

Commendable.

My suggestions

Leave the old testament out

Concentrate on Mattew, Mark, Luke and John

Every other part of the New Testament, aside the aforementioned, could best be described as the result of writers meditation.

No. I'm taking the whole package or none of it. It so happens I'm starting with the New testament. I agree that the letters from the apostles are products of the writer's meditation but they are believed to be divinely inspired.

Pictures of my comments coming up.

Any reasons why you chose to start with the book of John?

4th comment. Hope you guys see the text clearly. Lemme know ASAP.

5th comment.

@ amanfromMars: I started with Matthew not John. I'm starting off, using a 90-day NT reading plan on a preferred e-Bible of mine, Olivetree.

6th comment. A bit longer so I had to switch over to another format of showing it.

No. The Bible book being displayed was from John but the comments were actually on verses between Matthew 1-4.

8th and final comment for today's reading. Any thoughts ? In summary, Jesus' geneaology, his birth, conception and the beginning of his ministry by his baptism.

You aren't. As I said, anyone is welcome to comment. Might be the 'gingering' I need to be consistent, at least for 3 months.

Considered my offer?

Are you really serious ? If so I can be give u an e-mail of the plan on-the-go, or fully, if possible. If you have an Android tab, iPad or iTouch, download Olivetree, get to the menu, find the 'Reading plan' submenu and choose the 90-day plan under it and we should be good to go. So far, I don't know if plans are available on Olivetree for Androids, it doesn't have Bible reading plans on my phone.

What other way is it ? Does it have to do with the Holy Ghost ? In any case, I should wonder why not all pastors (or avid Bible readers) are confused, given what you've said.

Tyche:

I hope you got the message

I did. Not much different in substance from what u said earlier.

This is earth bro, not Mars. We pray before reading the bible here.

WHY? To recharge the faith battery?
