Going by what is written there, it is likely not possible to graduate with lets say 120 TCE since the core courses amounts to 135 TCE. Try and check if you have done all the Core courses.
How can i check it on my portal ? Don't i need to register for a semester to check it ?

Going by what is written there, it is likely not possible to graduate with lets say 120 TCE since the core courses amounts to 135 TCE. Try and check if you have done all the Core courses.

I started my MPA with NOUN in 2014....
I finished and passed all course works by 2016 but paused my project ( I was already given a project supervisor tho) due to one or two things.
Now I'm set to complete it, I tried logging in to d noun website and I saw everything changed/modified. Don't just know why I can't login.
Is it that I need to rẹ-register to use the portal or what?
Another question is dat, hope I don't need to pay any fee again? I've paid all necessary dues including the project fee but I went on a break.
Someone should pls help on how I can gain entry to my portal

No University in Nigeria will turn down an MSC obtained in NOUN from doing PhD. Maybe you did not meet up with the admission requirement. Remember NUC has reviewed benchmark for gaining admission for PhD from 3.5 now to 4.0.

To buttress my point, I have a friend who bagged MSC @NOUN. Now, currently on his PhD @UNN.

Good Morning Friends.

Can someone please tell me how long it takes to get certificate after graduation. I finished my MSC program on September this year. I successfully met all graduation requirements, but it seems to me that this guys are wasting time in giving me the certificate which I so much have urgent need for.

I wouldn't mind if anyone can advise me on the possible ways to fast track collection of my certificate.

Treat as urgent.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
To graduate, a student shall have undergone at least 6-8 semesters of study depending on entry point, including field practical training. Students are to pass a minimum of 127 credit units for a 4-year B.Sc. (Chemistry) programme; and 90 units for a 3-year B.Sc. (Chemistry) programme, and must have pass all the GST courses.The submission of an undergraduate project thesis based on a supervised research is a graduation requirement which cannot be compromised.

Your certificate will be ready by next convocation. This comes between February/March next year. Meanwhile you can apply for your transcripts if you so need it urgently.

You have to wait till January to do that. By January, you just need to do portal semester registration. That will grant you access to the portal. Meanwhile, you can continue your project from where you stopped even right away. If you were yet to start, you can start right away. You don't need portal access to do your project.

NB: if you have completed all course work and registered for research project before, you may not need to pay any money again.

I have done all core courses and have 189units so far out of the 198 set for Law, my project result also uploaded already. However, I have 2 electives missing result that I plan to register and write the exams next semester. My question then is, can they waive and allow me graduate?

Waiver is more or less a Dept decision. Well, graduation list will be out before next semester registration commences and you will be sure then if the courses were waivered or not.

According to your department, the minimum TCE is 155. This is made up of 135 units of Core courses and 20 Units of electives.
