strangest: yeah, Nigerians and complex issues... Oyibo narrator cannot even pronounce Kanu Nwankwo very well and everyone is okay with it... even Obama uses wanna, gonna and twenny five hundred for want to, going to and two thousand five hundred respectively and its called American Englis... yet when you dont pronounce Oyibo word very well instead of my people to see it as Nigerian English, they choose to be swallowed by their own complex issues... Congrats First lady. Go make us proudI doubt you will be proud of her after the forum. |

chronique: I sincerely do not understand Nigerians. Did PEJ ask to be allowed to deliver a speech? She's been asked to deliver a speech by the organisers of the event and this is not a Nigerian event;it's an event organised for first ladies of presidents of the UN. What's the problem with that? If the international community regard her to the extent of asking her to deliver a speech, shouldn't we be excited about that? Yes,her use of English is not the best but that doesn't take away the fact that she's the first lady of Africa's most populous black nation. As far as I'm concerned, the outside world sees something of worth in her. Let's learn to support our own when there's a need to do so. Translation: After all the issues with Syria they needed some comedy and guess what? |

nairaman66: No she won't do it! The thought of it will send paralysis down her spine. If she insist, then everyone in Nigeria would become a national embarrassment together with her.. My reason is not far fetched- she doesn't have the persona to grace that occasion.. Plus her ?? We all know her grammatical flaws.. You think she is intelligent enough to be aware of her Agbero personality and grammar? And you think those around her that know would be telling her? They would just be kissing her arsse like sycophants to get the riches they want, they will never tell her the truth. They would even be telling her a lot of Nigerians think she is the best first lady ever. |

Fhemmmy: Who do you think would tell her to practice when they are most likely all kissing her arsse that she is the greatest? You think any of the sycophants, like the person Rivers State member of HoRep that called her "my Jesus", would tell her "Sorry ma, the correct pronunciation is actually 'Umbrella', not 'Umblerra' when next you pronounce it"? What would that person gain or you don't think she would start beefing that person for humiliating her? |

chibabe3: God we need you more than ever before in this difficult situation. Don't allow our enemies to laugh over us, intervene and see us through this herculean task of addressing the world. Just give us the right word to use so that we don't cause any confusion with our grammar. I will advise all to unite and go into prayer and fasting until this speech has been delivered. Amen! |

deeptesting: All haters should relax, PEJ has been on extensive training for the past 3 months to ensure her speech is successfully delivered. I thought as much! no wonder she has not been participating on political matters for this while. This is critical time for presido and his wife, let's call on pastor Joshua for prayer. |

Even before they announce that kin event dem for don discuss its possibility with her representatives. If she had a single smart advisor, she for don decline without anyone knowing she was asked. I am beginning to think this is another pre-2015 set up by anti-Jonadafts utilising insiders: https://www.nairaland.com/1443771/nigerians-encourage-corruption-president-jonathan/5#18224102 |

Omoswags: Chairman, that means now that you have insulted his parents, someone should insult yours too? There is no need for that, we cant agree with everything that is being said by people, however, hurling insult is not the solution. |
