"Facts of the weekend"... Balotelli missed a penalty. Mikel scored in EPL. Valdes is catching penalties. Arsenal is topping the league table. Man-U lost with Webb as referee. Barca had 48% ball possession.. Signs of End time.

Babe, are you really in your final year? With this type of English? CHEI!! We are really doomed. Now I believe it when my friend told me that "there is no hope for Nigeria"! Just imagine! Should they call off this strike now, most universities will rush the academic calendar in order to meet up thereby, rolling out half baked mofos into the society... Three months of quality education lost! Chai... I weep for this country. The most painful part is that Jonathan is seriously, campaigning for 2015 while matters that need urgent attention are relegated to the background!

is high time d student union should look critically into the issue of assu vs fg.-fight. coz if it were to b for the benefit of the student dat d lecturers are on strike y is d fg. refuses to settle and heed to ASUU's cry. lets it dis way we shoul look into d demand n remove/cut-off part of it dat fg cant implement now. arise student union, arise parents, arise everyone. if the ASUU fight 4 dia benefit, n fg. did 2. student shul also fight for theirs. coz wen 2 elephant fight d graśs wiłl suffer.

The ASUU strike has really taken a big toll on everybody, students, parents, businessmen, all and sundry.

At this point it is important for ASUU and the so called government to note these basic facts.

1. Neither party can afford to bend for the other, otherwise what will you tell Nigerians is your reason for not doing so long before now.
2. If ASUU fails to achieve their demands from this strike, then that is the end of ASUU in this country.
3. Notwithstanding 1 above, the only party that can bend and should bend in this logjam now is the government - the reason being the real fear of no. 2.
4. Lastly, government adopted the old tactics of stretching ASUU to their limits hoping they will cave in but unlike be4, there is a written agreement of earlier discussions btwn the 2, so there's no room for further promises.

Therefore, wt the above in mind, the wiser of the two 'foolish' parties should read the lines and act, now there is still time before things get out of hand in the END!

Extom: No matter how hard it is to say, I must say that we are happy for what you're doing. We are a selected few, but we know that whatever cause you're fighting for, it is for the betterment of our educational system, and something that will be worth it in the long run.
For those of you bent on him calling it off, you better wake up and smell the coffee, because the rate of deterioration of our schooling system is repulsive and repugnant and unless there is a revamp in the system, your Bsc might just look like an O'level, internationally . And by the way, he's not asking for pay rise or whatever, but an implementation of a four-year agreement.

Bro wake up! Av Ɣ☺ΰ by chance heard of 'earned allowance'? †ђªt has been included in τ̣̣ђёir demands aΩ̴̩̩̩̥d̶̲̥̅̊ that's tђε̲̣̣̣̥ bone of contention aΩ̴̩̩̩̥d̶̲̥̅̊ not tђε̲̣̣̣̥ upgrade in infrastructure.

Paolo Di Canio SACKED by Sunderland just five matches into disastrous new season

The Italian, who took over from Martin O'Neill in March, has paid the price for a poor start to the campaign, in which the Black Cats are yet to win a match.
Pressure mounted following yesterday's 3-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion and reports suggested that he had two more games to save his job.
However, the club have released a statement this evening announcing that they have parted company with the 45-year-old, and named Kevin Ball as his temporary successor.
"Sunderland AFC confirms that it has parted company with head coach Paolo Di Canio this evening," read the statement on the club's website.
"The club would like to place on record its thanks to Paolo and his staff and wishes them well for the future."

Di Canio brought in 14 players during the summer transfer window.

You need deliverance from 2 to 3 pastors. Your children will blame you for not sacrificing for d betterment of Education. They wil also ask u where were u when FG was rubishing Education system. I knw ur type is sharp sharp mentality. It is unfortunate. Is their salaries more than other federal agencies?? Or even militaries & para-militaries? And research institutes?. Ur system needs to be reformated. Try and reason well by sacrificing d little u can. Stop lambasting ASUU. Blame FG who were heavily drunk whn dey signed d ageement 2009, & has refused to implement it by playig politics with it. Some Lecturers molest students and it is terribly bad. I hate it, but it happens in other institutions. If u think ASUU is d problem, u lack basic knowledge of Nigeria & how it works. Our leaders are committed liers & will continue. U better pray for them after praying for urself.

If there would be absolute transparency in handling the funds by ASUU if released by Fed.Govt. I"ll say am fully in support of ASUU. I.e if and only if the lingering spirit of selfishness in our country will not possess them.

God bless you bro, the basic salary of a Professor is nothing to write home about. I don't even think they make up to #500,000 a month. And yet they want the FG to encourage and help facilitate the use of ptractical infrastructures, but people are like bla bla bla
