chreld_b: Not true mate! That his tube journey happened during the Olympics last year, he was escorted by more than 5 plain cloth security agents, his stop station, had strict police presence before he even got there. Don't be fooled by those photos he took, people were watching over him and that was a one of thing, something some admitted was risky, the element if surprise also helped. This is Obama being lifted up in a pizza shop, it didnt mean his security weren't there. 3 Likes

abokinside: How long are you guys goin to keep patching this guy up he is just unbelievably incompetent, just look at how jittery eveyone around him was. Everytime he is asked questions about his job he never gives any coherent answer. How long are we goin to manage this kind of president, you guys promoting this mediocre dont love Nigeria at all, even if I didn't go to school 2 yrs of acting presideny and 2 1/2 yrs of another term thats 4.5 years as commander in chief of the federal republic yet any of the guys walking with hime would ve answered the questions far better and you guys want to force the man on us in 2015. Tell me sincerely if any nation were to have a clueless, mediocre leader like Gej for 10 years what would be left of the country after that ten years. Haba ! Guys fear God nah! This your man is crassly incompetent and totally unable to change Nigeria for the better. Did you see the Brazilian president deliver HER speech without reading from a script! My president cannot even read from a script properly, he has to return to Otuoke come 2015, let the south south give us a competent man in 2015 not Gej. So sorry to say this but Gej does not inspire no body not even his domestic aides he is just too basic to be a leader of a great country like Nigeria.Ewu talking about "inspire". Where did the beautiful speeches of the likes of Azikiwe lead Nigeria to? Coup, countercoup and civil war. We do not need a talking or motivational speaker as president. We need a president that will walk the talk and get the JOB DONE. I'm not interested in verbose speeches. If what inspires you is empty verbose grammar, kindly go to the likes of Rochas or Patrick Obahiagbon The irony of some of these fools that of talk of inspirational speeches is that they supported Buhari at the last election. Between Buhari and GEJ, who is a better public speaker? HATERS are perpetually looking for reasons to hate more. Yeye dey smell. 3 Likes |

Pataki: What kind of a dunce is this man! You don't have any point but just to criticize the sensless 'ACN / APC 2015 is the target' way. What is it to learn from Kenya where more than 60 hostages lost their life in an operation that negotiations and tactical confrontation would have saved more lives. Is that a successful terror fight ? So you expect him to give you the details of the strategy so that you and your boko boys will plan an ambush ? |

I am quite surprised that a reporter can get access and ask the President such mundane questions on the streets of New York. "What are you doing about Boko Haram" Did Boko haram start yesterday? Does the reporter not read newspapers? She appears to have dropped straight out of primary school even arguing with the aides. Has she not heard of any current world issues such as the incident in Nairobi ? Sovereign Fund... when we have more pressing issues like oil theft, power and poverty. Sahara should never ever unleash those kind of amateur reporters on the President again. 4 Likes |

The reporter herself is dumb...asking if it is right to go ahead with the sovereign wealth fund when it is obvious the fund is already being utilized...the one billion dollars has been taken from the excess crude account to start the sovereign investment authority , which has already mapped out strategies to invest the funds so what is she talking about. The governors have obviously lost out on that one even the court has advised that the issue be settled out of court. Even the governors kicking against it is it not for their own selfish interests so that the money in the excess crude can be used to augument their monthly allocations during the FAAC meeting. Its not like they will even use the money judiciously. Abeg make we hear word jare ...i am neither a fan of gej nor the govs nor Sahara reporters make den go siddon 1 Like |

$£yi: Spot on. I am also not a fan. You really do not need to be an orator to be a good president, you just need to work hard. You definitely must not be using abusive words against Nigeria's elected President. That is really a bad habit. The person who did that should apologize. 2 Likes |

'You need to update your statistics' Update here would mean, get the current number of Boko Haram related deaths. Is there any possibility of 3,000 dead people being updated downwards? (did Nigeria resurrect some of the dead?). I hope what he meant to say was 'Verify your statistics' unless he meant that Adeola was quoting an old figure of 3,000 which if updated to include current deaths would be above that figure. Which would leave those saying the guy is clueless having nothing else to prove. God bless Mr President (I can't curse him but he needs to wake up or take a nap elsewhere not Aso Rock) God bless Nigeria. 3 Likes |

chokolatte:I doubt if the two of them (interviewee and interviewer were prepared). As a journalist, I know you need to be fully prepared but when you just see an impromtu oppurtunity and you know u have less than a minute to get somethiing, you need to shelve some questions to the current affair questions. What America love to hear in news is terrorism and where it is striking next so apart from to ask about the Kenya issue which would seem out of place for a Nigerian President, the next possible news item is Boko Haram |

Dee60: You know why I pity you people, it is simply because you are living like fools. In this world we live in, the ability to communicate and speak effectively is a very important attribute of a leader. As a PhD, as a professional, your ability to communicate is also very important. How come Jona, a PhD finds it difficult to communicate effectively? Did he not earn his PhD? Our President gives us big reasons on why we need deep reforms in Nigeria's education system. If a PhD cannot communicate effectively, then something is wrong. 5 Likes |

Re: Sahara TV Interviews President Jonathan On The Streets Of New York by Pataki: 1:58pm On Sep 25, 2013 |
dammytosh: You reason like your president - a true dunce. In the case of Kenya, you have heavily armed terrorists, they break into shopping mall, start shooting at random and killing people. You are here advocating for negotiations and tactical confrontation as a better means to saving more lives. Little wonder, your ediotic president is calling for amnesty for Boko Haram members and at the same time calling them his brothers and sisters. What is the meaning of tactical confrontation that you are advocating for? Declare a SOE on the shopping mall and invite Al Shabab for amnesty talk in Nairobi So having negotiations with terrorists is the ideal way to have saved more lives huh? Give it to your President, he answered the question about Boko Haram in a resonating 'dumbosonic' dimension! Even right after that girl had provided answers for him, the doofus of a president still does not know how to answer the question intelligently! 1 Like |

The president didn't appear very informed, it seems some people have lied so much to him he's out of touch with the truth. Everyone around felt so uncomfortable and that man in black at the left kept pulling the reporter all through. Why, the president seemed surprised to hear the 3000 figure(like shooo, e don reach that number alredy?), and his thinking that the governors are in agreement with him. Great work by sahara anyway, they went all the way to new york to speak with Mr. President. Others can tke a cue and invest in substance journalism. 2 Likes |
