A true revolution in Nigeria is still 10 decades away, what can only happen is that Nigerians will respond to western stimuli and provide the expected result which is to break into smaller pieces still governed by western goons but far more weaker and less of a threat to western interests since they will all hate each other and try to destroy each other instead of building together. I have come across many instances where someone is called a Socialist as a form of insult, maybe it is the result of long period of western propaganda and brainwashing, maybe it is just ignorance, all i know is that it is never a good thing for us. |

kingoflag:you see, i like as you brought up this issue of jumbo pay being received by our NA members, it shows that your head dey there well well. My argument has always been that our assembly members should as a matter of urgent patriotism take an at least 70% cut in all financial emoluments accruable to them and also be paid on a part time basis if possible a stipend per sitting as being a member of the NA isnt a full time job by any stretch of the imagination. The fact that they do not waste time when deliberating and implementing on their salaries + other entitlements is a serious cause for concern and whats even more shameful is that non of our amiable "progressives" in both chambers have deemed it fit to reject such stupendous allowances or better still move a motion for a reduction of such wicked salaries. A motion such as that is sure to win the sympathy of a generality of the masses to the noble cause of the APC instead of the usual pattern of mud slingings, character assasinction and smear campaigns that seems to be the other of the day especially amongst the online supporters. 1 Like |

President should have done himself a world of goodies if he has kept himself media-friendly and media-ready in these past three years. The governance by seclusion can work in Abuja where five hundred automobiles form the presidential motorcade. But in the streets of NY, heck no. He should be granting periodic press conferences as other world leaders do. After all, he has a PHD, he wrote his thesis in English and I suppose he had to make an oral defense of that thesis; so the man can speak if his life depended on it. Let the president speak sometimes. That might improve his 2015 chances if there is going to be an election. Those fools trying to shove 'our girl' Adeola aside would have a better chance on protecting their jobs and huge estacodes to the 2015 UN General Assembly trip if they prep the prez for better conferences. Nigerians want their prez to be charming and quick on his feet and smooth on his lips as well. Thats no too much to ask. If we can't get honest leaders who can be corrupt free and give a head butt to rotten governance, the least we can ask for and get would be a prez that can speak to a camera without a prepped text. How can a president say 'we are working ver hard on it' even after he was asked how hard? He cud not even make a simple point. GEJ is completely bereft of Ideas and highly incompetent. We should emulate the egyptians and bring an end to this shame!. No use respecting any office dat neither respect itself nor its citizens |

barcanista: You well so? Why faking 'beaf' with intent of causing harm and misleading innocent ppl that may mistake you for the real patriot BEAF? You APC goons are always COPY COPY. Same way your party leadership photocopied the manifesto of the GREAT PDP, Africa's Largest party in whom Nigerians are well pleased..the same way they copied sincere nigerian. They call demselves progressives yet they ain't creative. They condemned SOE that it ws a clueless idea yet they hv no solution to bh menace. Bloody copycats |

This president shows articulation that many of you do not possess. By the way, where were your parents when GEJ rose to become president? Think about that and stop insulting achievers. Pataki: What kind of a dunce is this man!even if he's a slowpoke, you voted him there, so stop raining abuses on him ok ? You don't seen to know the pressure being a leader. Try being a class rep., Care taker in a yard, chairman and so on. Not to talk of being a president. I bet you if you give Obama a chance, he'll quit being a president. So pls when talking about our president, don't just pour out your emotions ok ? Its not an easy task |

GEJ is a PHD holder, he was a lecturer in UNIPORT before he became a politician, he just finished addressing world leaders on the floor of the UN General Assembly before that interview yet some nonentities on this site thinks he's incoherent and a mediocre. No Yoruba sorry sahara repoter could have gotten close to OBJ for an interview, goes to show the level of GEJ's civility. |

So pls when talking about our president, don't just pour out your emotions ok ? Its not an easy taskMuch as I don't support anyone abusing Mr. President, I hear this line of argument every day and it makes me feel there's something wrong with the entire black nation. Imagine, when you ask a police man why he extorts N20, he will quickly respond that he's been working under the sun. Also, when a president is seen not performing up to expectation, we rationalize that it's not easy to lead at any level. My question is this: who forced them to take up such responsibility? Ok, let's even excuse them that they misunderstood what it demands to occupy such position ab initio, are there no room to excuse themselves? We just enjoy power if or not we're making any impact. Pope benedict quit being a head of government because his strength was failing him. 1 Like |

Orlando Owoh: And yes he's right! Other countries who criticise their presidents don't raise up tribal, regional or useless sentiments like many nigerians do. Every criticism in a sane country is point based n objective, if u can't criticise constructively just shut up. Calling him names on social media is jst so stoooopid too |

Frustrated ediot like you Ranting away your frustration with useles expletives will neither make the man less of a president nor will it remove from the fact that he is not only your president, but the president of your father and mother. Is it his fault that he has achieved what your father and ancestors could not achieve. Go vent your frustrations elsewhere cos take it or leave it,HE IS YOUR PRESIDENT |
