ebdib: What kind of schools am I seeing on this thread I kept wondering where the hell these prospective applicants got these school names from. I guess most are just desperate to travel to the US without putting into consideration the quality of education they want. Why not University of........., institutes of......... and good names of school. You guys picking schools that just got approved 10 years ago be careful..... thank God I chose wisely and I got what I had wanted all made possible with God. my school was established in 1853, uni with high reputation and great successes in teaching and research. You can do the same. Although not among top 20 schools in d US but I can boost of the name anywhere anytime. Most people hide the names of their school when reporting their transcript here coz they are a shame of their school name although not in all cases I stand to be corrected. Advice :Please go to school that will make you relevant in the not too distant future and stop looking for shortcuts to greatness. Thanks 3 Likes |

chimdilawson: Whatever you fill on your ds160 be ready to defend it. Your first few questions from the VO like Why the school? And why the US or even why dint you pursue this at your undergraduate level...These are the questions that will get you that visa. a cover letter too from an airline company is a big plus. You could take out the NYSC bit and put something cogent. Your delivery is very important. That's why I'm encouraging you to do more research about your school. |
