ebdib: What kind of schools am I seeing on this thread
Globe university, CMU or whatever the hell that means.

Hmmmm. I still don't understand why anyone would spend their parents hard earned cash on such low rate universities.
Gosh. Is the goal entering America or getting a good worthwhile education that's worth it in the long run?

Dear prospective students. If you have parents that you love don't make them spend money on inchoate schools. Look for good schools, study, write tests and get admission. The sky won't be your limit. Don't look for the easy way out.

There is no shortcut.

I kept wondering where the hell these prospective applicants got these school names from. I guess most are just desperate to travel to the US without putting into consideration the quality of education they want. Why not University of........., institutes of......... and good names of school. You guys picking schools that just got approved 10 years ago be careful..... thank God I chose wisely and I got what I had wanted all made possible with God. my school was established in 1853, uni with high reputation and great successes in teaching and research. You can do the same. Although not among top 20 schools in d US but I can boost of the name anywhere anytime.

Most people hide the names of their school when reporting their transcript here coz they are a shame of their school name although not in all cases I stand to be corrected.

Advice :Please go to school that will make you relevant in the not too distant future and stop looking for shortcuts to greatness.

Thanks

I told him I even have an attesation from my school. He said anyone can print such even as it has university stamp and seal.

I will reschedule and go back again. It is not still ready as it take 5years for degree cert to be ready.

You know when issues like this arise, it gets you distabilized.

Was just very funny to me. I have been making contacts to get through to my registrar which I finally did and got his personal number. Would try and search for available date.

Will update y'all soon. Still got some busy schedules. kiss See the GA I've been writing my ass out for. GRE twice Ielts ;DThis VO them funny sha. I've paid for visa fee, so I will be on the lookout for available date.

Thanks y'all. Where is graviton and walspring. Stewee, thanks all

Shiet mehn! Slimmy, I don't know what to say, but know this: Delay is not denial. You WILL get your visa! We're all rooting and praying for you — you're like an elder brother to me and you have paid your dues on here.

It was StreetMic that told me about your delay this afternoon. Please re-schedule and re-fire — God ain't sleeping.

My dear coming out with a first class in your undergraduate is never a big deal. It's all about you being focused and determined.

It's even likely you came out with a first class and just pretending grin grin grin

Ah, you are on track. You have no gap to fill at all. You can do without the work experience. Letting them know about your NYSC program which will not be concluded until after your resumption date is risky. The one year gap between your graduation and now can be easily explained. You've been researching on good schools in the US and also preparing for the standardized tests.

But you may also want to put a voluntary job there if you have any means to back it up.
Itz actually not a standardised test required course or school. Itz a 2 or 3months training in aviation. same school stewee is in for, buh he's on F-1visa, while mine is on M-1visa category.

Slimmy05,

So sorry about the delay. I guess the rules have changed at the embassy now. Try go your school and talk to them at academic affairs or the Registrar's office. Maybe they can give you a letter to the US Consulate or something. Either way, this was not you fault. Pele.

These questions are all the same and therefore, require the same response. I don't know where you got your different responses from. Make up your mind on one answer and we will work with that.

I hope you have a certificate from CAC to back up this business and also an annual tax returns certificate from IRS that declares your 550K per month. If not, na story oh. Them nor go believe you lie lie.

Whatever you fill on your ds160 be ready to defend it.
Your first few questions from the VO like Why the school? And why the US or even why dint you pursue this at your undergraduate level...These are the questions that will get you that visa. a cover letter too from an airline company is a big plus. You could take out the NYSC bit and put something cogent.

Your delivery is very important. That's why I'm encouraging you to do more research about your school.

Most of my documents are laminated, and my cousin keeps singing to me in my ears that it will be a problem with the vo.

Any experience from anybody?
One of my documents (Bsc certificate) was laminated and was checked by the vo even though it took him some time to verify its authenticity...He even took it inside.
