Left wing extremist ideology is based on socialism and bent on creating an egalitarian society.
Right wing extremist idealogy on the other hand is based on conservative doctrine but in its extremist form. In western countries, these groups hate anyone who is not white and of European descent.

So it means what the committed was right wing extremism

I watched the 7 min video of the attack, and some videos shared by people in the mosques after the attack. It was gory.
This was not about muslims. He was ready to kill all people of non-european ancestry that he called invaders. It does not matter to him if you are black, indian or arab. He shoots at anyone not looking white.
