Authoreety:Umuonaje is that Anambra or Asaba |
. I got dollar today for #690 |
Dollar is #700 today afternoon |
[quote author=LagosInter post=118337929]Did they pump in money recenty?[/quote Yeah Cbn pulled out $1.8Billion dollars recently From the foreign reserve to fight and stabilize the naira. Sept to November Cbn don inject $1.8bn dollars that's why our foreign reserve dipped to $37billion dollars. It's not healthy though to continue depleting the Foreign reserve I put some blame on buhari don't know the reason he cancelled the security contract FG had with tompolo which made oil production to dip to an all-time low na now dem don reward am back the security contract |
LagosInter:Naira would keep appreciating as long as Cbn keeps pumping in enough forex into the market . That's the only temporal solution for now pending when we our crude Oil production hits 1.8m and Dangote refinery comes on stream or Portharcourt starts reifining The cbn has a limit to the amount of dollars it can release into the economy,if not foreign investors won't have confidence Excess depletion of the foreign reserve can crumble the economy One's our Oil production continue to rise, then cbn would be able to maintain the supply making the naira to keep appreciating as long as demand doesn't outpace supply |
Topshow4real:743 for your mind abi I contacted some mallam this morning and they were offering 690 . Na with abeg sef Hope you are aware for the past 4months our Oil production has been 900,000 b/d . Nigeria just added 400,000b/d to the 900,000 b/d to make it about 1.3m b/d By Next year Nigeria is targeting back to 1.8m b/d There has been a decline in dollar earnings for these couple of months that's why the Naira has been doing badly. Do you expect the Naira to keep crashing with the increase in Foreign exchange?
|
![]() adubam: ![]() Dangote refinery never even start production ![]() |
adubam:He bought from those mallam and he's not selling he's using it for travel purpose |
adubam:My friend just bought for 670 today |
ebenezary:Going up my foot. Oil production has been 900barrels/d for some months now just rose to 1.3Million barrels/day. It is expected to rise further to 1.8M/ barrles per day. Dangote refinery at 97percent complete as at last month. Production starts in 4Months time . production starts by 1st quarter March 2023 Daily consumption is 450,000b/d the capacity is 650,000b/d . We have excess of 150b/d of Oil. Fyi the reason why our currency has been depreciating is because CBN doesn't have enough Forex our production also dipped badly 900,000b/d . Pls ask any financial expert or Economist what the Dangote refinery would do to the naira when we start production by March. |
GREATIGBOMAN:Bro you wrong by December this a period in which there would Be a lot of forex as a result of disaporans people from abroad sending money from abroad and also most people from abroad come back into the country this xmas period. Have you ever noticed that during xmas period that's when a lot of disaporans buy property. Next year things might change, you know why Dangote refinery would start operation it's currently 97percent complete it's because we don't have much dollars now that's why the naira is depreciating . Daily oil production last month was 900,000 barrels per day it peaked to 1.4Million barrels per day this month we are supposed to be doing 1.8Million barrels according to opec quota So forex we were earning dipped so badly within this 6Months that's part of the reason the naira was depreciating CBN wasn't having enough forex Just imagine when production peaks to 1.8Mb/d and Dangote refinery starts operation by March next year You can ask any Economist this The Naira deprecation is not gonna last long It's better one invest in real estate . It's better to buy lands na only real estate fit withstand any inflation |
Many Bdc said they lost millions because of this. I pity those hoarding the dollar this thing go crash as soon as Dangote refinery starts working by 1st quarter next year march |
I have 20Million + and I've been confused on which kind business I go fit do with the 20M+ or whether make I japa |
EmmaJnr1:Lolz you must be joking. USA has the most advanced Aircraft in the world russia dey learn work they call this spirit something wey radar no fit detect e dey jam radar Russia dey learn work when it comes to technology |
GodHatesJews: . Hahaha you want a country with one of the best air defense system in the world to a radioactive waste I don't think the Russians would be happy if israel gets to supply the ukrainians air defense systemI wish Netanyahu can come back and change some narratives supply ukraine with some badass equipment ![]() |
baralatie:Lolz |
baralatie:As of Last month it's 97percent complete. I think FG/Nnpc has a stake in that refinery I think 20percent or so can't remember. The refinery might not solve the cost of high price of fuel since Dangote would sell @ world market price for oil The refinery has a capacity to cater for nigeria's oil demand daily then the surplus from it's capacity Means more dollars for the country since Nnpc has stake in the refinery. According to statistics We spend over 40percent of our foreign exchange on fuel import |
What we pray for now is Dangote refinery to come on stream by next year. The refinery is currently at 97percent complete. Next year March the refinery should start producing , then Nigeria would have enough forex since na only oil fit save us for now. I remember one year like that the USA dem release enough dollars to make their currency stronger With Dangote refinery Naija go get enough dollars to buffer the naira For now na Dangote refinery go be the Temporal solution |
