car gurus, I noticed that in my Honda accord EOD 05 model, the speedometer moves erratically, the gearbox when in motion changes roughly, both on high speed and low speed, I diagnosed it, but got no codes, I feel it's the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) that's the culprit, my problem here is locating the speed sensor, but, wetin I know, car gurus in the house, kindly show me d location of d speed sensors, and if you have other solutions to this issue, I will be happy if you can tell me.

Your vehicle is not equipped with a singular VSS speed sensor dedicated for the speed cluster. The info required might be from the ABS unit. Do you have the ABS light on?

Re: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by Nobody: 12:18am On Apr 17, 2019

The rewire ask me to change the knock sensor and air fuel sensor.

1. is it compulsory i change the air fuel sensor also?
2. do you have an idea how much the knock sensor might cost because this is my first time of changing it.

Thanks again n God bless you

for a V6 the knock sensor might not be damaged, just a rodent that eats off the harness. If you take out the powersteering pump and you have small hands, you can easily reattach the wiring back.

For the air fuel sensor, your car has 4, and I see no codes in that respect.

Please i still need help with my AC.

it still works at random. and works just fine when it works

When it stops working apparently the diagnosis is: the compressor is not getting power, but the relay and fuses are ok.

Went to change the AC switch panel on the dash and the guy was honest enough to tell me he didn't think there's anything wrong with the one i have there at the moment

he then removed the relay and stuck a wire into the slots, and the compressor starts. he said the Relay is fine which is really confusing......

also watched another stick a long screwdriver down to push the AC Clutch and it started. that one said the AC clutch needs to be 'serviced' whatever that means. Doesn't add up for me because like i said the system does work fine when it works.....

I just need to know precisely what needs to be fixed. Thus far no one seems to be sure. Haven't let anyone touch anything though. Not a big fan of guesswork.

Please help, who has an idea why this is....... mosbus gazzuzz radautoworks autologic

Yes boss Gazzuzz, my abs light is on, i have just tried diagnosing the four wheels sensors, don't know if i'm doing it correctly, but i tried checking for resistance on all four sensors, didn't get any, put my multimeter on ac voltage, connected to the sensors, spinned the wheels, but got no reading also, what else can i do sir?

Also, how do you mean by, " Your vehicle is not equipped with a singular VSS sensor that is dedicated for the speed cluster.

the pics below, is that what u mean?

what solution can you profer sir?

I am glad you know how to use a multimeter. The resistance you are looking for is in milli ohms. I will advise you go the easy way out and employ the use of scan tool that can read the abs sensors and also carry out a live test on functionality of each wheel.

hi, pls my low pressure oil light keeps flashing, but when I turn off the car and start again, the light stops and comes ON again after driving for a while. my mechanic said the oil seal is leaking the oil and told me to top up with 1 ltr in the morning. PRND switch aka transmission range switch. It's switch used to switch the various gates (P R N & D) on a transmission.

Gear gurus in the house, pls, after fixing d other issue on my EOD, i discovered d gear started having high shift points, tried setting it from the transmission range switch sensor, no change, itreaches 3k rpm to make d 1st change, 3.1 to make the second change, same as the 3rd gear, how can i reset the auto gear shift points?cause normally, it shouldn't go beyond 2.2k rpmbefore it will change from gear 1 to 2 and it is supposed to reduce in 3,4 & 5

Good evening gentle men.
Hope u all had a great day

Please I need an urgent help.
I drive an Hyundai elentra 2008.

My mechanic told me today that my transmission oil needs a change. I never changed it b4,but with what I have read here,I learnt that I can only use the specification 'SP III'

Please where can I get this ATF?
Secondly, I need some one to recommend a good AC specialist to look at my AC.it is not cooling like B4.

Hello,
I just got a Corolla Sport 04. The battery that came with it is not that good. I would like recommendations for a new battery and how much it normally cost.

Hello NLanders. Pls someone should kindly educate me on what to do to properly effect a change of ownership. I'm about to buy a naija used vehicle and I want to be sure I know the details of what is to be done. What documents must I ask for? Do I need to bring a lawyer into the transaction? Thanks for your kind help.
