It depends on where in ondo state.
Farmlands are owned by families. So you go find the key menbers of the family and negotiate, then pay and start farming. It is as simple as that.

You do it yourself or through someone that is trusted. But you know that nothing goes for nothing. Even if your trusted agent/ relation helps you get it, you will still settle him or her in kind or cash so that you can gain credence.
I think I needed to add that because some people are so unpleasant and unrealistic.

It is now time for people that wants to dig earthen ponds for their fishes to start doing so now before the rains commence.

Desilting also should be done now when the water table is low in order to get good results.
