Let us be realistic, I can't blame Nigeria players, it can only happen in a country like Greece where their government is doing everything possible to better the lives of their citizens unlike Nigeria where our leaders do not encourage such a thing to happen, if they do, our leaders will embezzle the money, so why doing it |

The problem with Nigeria is that there is no love/loyalty towards that entity. It is the same thing whether you look at it from the side of sports, politics, etc. We put ourselves before Nigeria. |

Anyone asking our lads to follow this example is unreasonable. These boys should collect what is dutifully theirs and do the the needful. 1 Like |

On point, patriotism at work! jakiedudu: Very admirable. I think the Greece National team gave a good account of themselves thus far in the world cup. Sadly African players are more concern about money than playing for the glory for their countries. |

Our youths, the leaders of tomorrow(if there's anything worth looking forward to about it in Nigeria) are idling and whiling away their time at home due to unemployment and strike by Asup and coassu.BH are bombing our country while some of our soldiers are sent on peace keeping operations outside Nigeria. Our politicians are gallivanting about while our president is watching Bosnia match when over 200 young Nigerian girls are held hostage. America please as a matter of urgency rescue us from these clowns in power. |

There is no money in Greece anyway. Whereas in 9ja, money de .... It is been allocated to the NFA, so I don't blame the players for doing whatever they can to get their money or else the fat cats running the NFA will chop all their money!! |

There is absolutely no room for comparison of Greece with any Africa Countries. Greece cares for her citizens, African leaders do not. Why won't African players demand for their portion of the national cake when all their leaders does is to amass wealth and loot public treasury. While money is a major factor in developing countries, it is not so in developed Countries. Emphasis on money is very low in developed Countries. Government has provided basics needs of live for their citizens. If you don't have cash in African you are nobody. So, don't compare life and death. 1 Like |
