joker5180: bros are you oriented? Your initial post implied that we abandoned patients at the point of death and proceed on strike. A medical doctor/dentist can not be hold responsible for death of a person when the former is on strike, there was no contract between them. Read the handbook to get enlightened.
Bro, just graduate and start life. E hear?

Lol, thank you sir! But i kinda had 5years first-hand crash course on that.

Now, you go check what 'paramedic' means. Also try to learn more about physiotherapy too.

Cheers!

joker5180: I think you should also get yourself educated on what " medical school" mean.

mentorandfriend: I replied in respect to his question as a Bsc student. He cant do any masters in medicine with a Bsc. Of course after Medicine, the opportunities are endless. Masters in Epidemiology, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, Public Health Policy, Biostatistics, Reproductive Health, Mental Health, Dental Health, Primary Health Care, Pharmacology, etc. But doing residency for 5-6 years to specialise is a better option to me than those masters programmes.

I read in a nigerian mbbs curriculum template that a medic student needs to get at least 50% in continuous assessment b4 he/she sits for any mbbs final exam..Can someone explain this please? Where will the continuous assessment score be gotten from?

They are gotten from series of quizzes/tests. What do you understand by Continuous assessment in the first place? Any CA without score?

Yet, I still ve the opportunity to go to uni, but nothing on my head; as a science student I don't even know the defination of Chemistry. Yet, I want to come up and be a good student and even teach others, I want to go to school by Merit. How will I go about this pls? Am mature now and can't go back to secondary school. I ve to leave my parents house in Abuja to Port Harcourt because of shame so that pple around will not ask me questions. Pls advise me, where will I start from? How can I start reading without any teaching teaching me? Am so confuse... Pls Help me, also help me post this to others for advise. No. Each part has its own series of CA for that level.

2nd mbbs course work is for 18 months. Medical training does not run in semesters. No semester, no break. You take the CA during this 18 months period. I think what you're calling part 1 mbbs is 2nd mbbs exam. But then, pls wait till you get in first. Dont really wanna bore you with all these. I dont really av the time to explain all these. Perhaps another person will.
