Kinkybraids: Never a girl is small, immature and very young. A lady is a certain class of woman who carries her self with class and commands respect. So with that said not every woman can be a lady.

A girl is a young female.
A woman is an adult female.
A lady is a refined female.
A lady could be a girl or a woman.

Don't know who taught you girls were all 'small, playful and immature'. If you think girls cannot be ladies, go ask the British monarchs if their young females aren't taught to be ladies undecided

Nice... I was thinking of making such clarifications too. A lady is just an honourable/respectable way of addressing a female. Be it a teen or an adult female. And that is why a 70year old woman can be regarded as a lady.

People just have misconceptions and wrong ideologies as regards the word "lady".

mistermahn: Many of we single people just never like to admit that we have problems and thats why we are single as for me i know why i am single and it is because I like to control every single thing that goes on in my life(and in other people's lives as well), I also hate dirt,which is big problem because i always go out with dirty girls, another reason is that i am narcissist and i adore myself i dont have a big ego i just belive that i can do certain things better than others.. Infact, I must say we kinda have like-minds as regards this. Sometimes I feel I have not seen the right one, and other times it's just me not ready for anything as such.

My right hand man dey tell me say evil spirit dey disturb me. Lol.

I just have this feeling that some where in the world the right woman for me is busy doing something really cool and worthwhile with her life, improving herself to become a better stronger and useful woman to society, herself and me. When the right time comes every thing will fall in place, Our stars we alingn. We would find our self and she would be like where have you been all this while am like I have been waiting for you while keeping myself busy setting the world on fire ...

. I feel like yes she could be a lady in the context which you described but I strongly believe a young girl does not have the maturity to be a lady. Its not expected of her. I stand by my statement about girls being playful and immature by nature ...I dont need to be taught this, one can see it from observation.
