The problem with Nigeria re-surfaces again. "Once a thief is allegedly caught, it is very hard to get security agencies to pursue other lines in their investigation...same with the people who hurry to lynch suspects"A comprehensive investigation should include all angles and that is The strength of the building. Building approval The aircraft identification Authorised flight paths for the day Residues from the building If Synagogue strongly believes it was a controlled explosion, then they should fly in foreign explosion investigators to carry out an independent investigation and produce a report. didadavid: Still trying to fool us abi, try harder abeg...Lagos state govt have just confirmed that they may prosecute TB Joshua according to Punch...Read it Here why prosecute him, prosecute the city safety inspector for approving such building plans.. before you build u need permit, during the permit they look to see if its safe before approving it..except mayba lagos is not civilized anybody can just build, then you can't sue anybody.. in short self this guy TB Joshua has so many branches he can't possibly dictate every how to build and what to build.. he probably just approve the funds |

Fascinating. Then you should have video evidence of the explosives being planted.... Besides, as the Wikipedia article on controlled demolition puts it... For small buildings, such as houses, that are only two or three stories high, demolition is a rather simple process. The building is pulled down either manually or mechanically using large hydraulic equipment: elevated work platforms, cranes, excavators or bulldozers. Larger buildings may require the use of a wrecking ball, a heavy weight on a cable that is swung by a crane into the side of the buildings. Wrecking balls are especially effective against masonry, but are less easily controlled and often less efficient than other methods. Newer methods may use rotational hydraulic shears and silenced rock-breakers attached to excavators to cut or break through wood, steel, and concrete. The use of shears is especially common when flame cutting would be dangerous. And further more...as Wikipedia puts it on Implosion (the demolition type our friends at Emmanuel seem to be referring to) It takes several weeks or months to prepare a building for implosion. All items of value, such as copper wiring, are stripped from a building. Some materials must be removed, such as glass that can form deadly projectiles, and insulation that can scatter over a wide area. Non-load bearing partitions and drywall are removed.[6] Selected columns on floors where explosives will be set are drilled and high explosives such as nitroglycerin, TNT or C4 are placed in the holes. Smaller columns and walls are wrapped in detonating cord. The goal is to use as little explosive as possible so that the structure will fail in a progressive collapse therefore only a few floors are rigged with explosives, so that it is safer (fewer explosives) and less costly. The areas with explosives are covered in thick geotextile fabric and fencing to absorb flying debris.[6] Far more time-consuming than the demolition itself is the clean-up of the site, as the debris is loaded into trucks and hauled away. There....a job requiring several people....WHO COULD NOT HAVE GAINED ACCESS to the building without tipping off the SCOAN security. And NO PLANES REQUIRED! A building already in compromised construction state, is just waiting for the right set of circumstances... In concrete buildings, it is usually one last piece of weight added or an instance of vibration added to the building... The aircraft/helicopter is a strong source of vibration and possibly it was the harmonic resonance sufficient enough to reverberate through the building and break the already overloaded "Camels Back".. Its one thing to be approved to build 12 floors and its another to use construction standard that can support only 6 floors.. Its so common in Nigeria for the cement to be mixed bad or with little cement to bind the mix.. Also the base support column requirements change when more floors are to be added.. The size of rebar and the girth of the support columns make a difference and thats why a 6 story building cannot stand on columns made for a 2 story building even if the permit paper says 12 story structure can be built... A permit is not a certificate of structural engineering method approval... Even faulty construction doesn't just collapse, it takes a last straw scenario to push it to it limit... The aircraft may have done the last straw ,but faulty construction is the real reason.. Better to collapse like that than to finish the construction and load the building full of congregation and have it collapse under full occupancy and a more serious death toll aftermath.. The truth is , Someone paid to have that building erected and that someone brought people in and allowed them to occupy it, The building killed some of the people and the law requires that someone to be held responsible according to law... We can support and rally behind whoever but the law will take its course even if it becomes corrupted or stifled by insufficient evidence to conclude without a doubt.. But as for now, T.B Joshua has a Good life beyond many on earth, concern for him is rather selfish when the concern should go to Those who died and their families who have lost them.... I watched the media chat and obviously the "Synagogue spokesman" was telling loads of lies and twisting issues. He was playing with words and avoiding simple straight forward answers. When he was asked if it was proper for people to live on the lower floors of a building that was still under construction he said the building was complete and at the stage of interior decoration (rugs, curtains etc) I knew he was not telling the truth. I really think they should stop all these attempts to cover up and mislead the public. The more they say these things they make it look as if they are trying to cover something. They should simply send their apologies to the families of the dead and express sorrow for the lives that were lost. It's all possible the collapse of the building is not their fault but one of those occurrences in life that we can not explain. however, the way they are going about it makes me suspect them. 3 Likes |

Some of you should keep quiet and support tb josua in prayers. This is not the time for blames. An accident has just occurred and we should rally round him so that he will continue the good work he is doing. Pulling him down won't help anything. Imagine a south african man that suppose to blame tb josua was able to blame the aircraft but we nigerians re only interested in making sure his ministry closes.
