Shey na GEJ and PDP send Aregberascal to merge schools since he could not build ADDITIONAL schools to cater for ALL our children resulting in the crisis that has refused to go away =>

I don't know why we are so daft about the CLUELESS "Engineer" in Bola Ige house who is literally setting the state on religious fire shocked
We can continue pretending all is well and spinning nonsense as Gbawe is doing here until the fire engulfs us ALL the way Boko Haram is ravaging the North East presently.

You,ve always been a raving lunatic anyway so no surprise you are talking about some fire about to engulf you personally. The fact is that Aregbesola, like most Yoruba Moslems, has not shown anything to indicates he discriminates against any religion. This has always been so. Why is it today and now that divisive elements and anarchists like you, 'coincidentally' ardent supporters of GEJ and mindless haters of the APC, are beginning to insist otherwise?

Who have you lot not tagged Islamist, whether Fashola or Tinubu, simply because they are moslems when religion was an issue that was never a big deal in the SW? Is it not obvious to honest folks that GEJ and the PDP have deliberately decided to practise politics of enmity, ethnic/religious intolerance and divisiveness instead of directly tackling Boko Haram, corruption and the many grave issues troubling Nigeria? You really are a sad little man.

For those making noise abt christian holidays, christian observe only two holidays - Easter and christmas...new year holiday isn't exclusive to christians...its a general holiday...muslims have more holidays...but let's leave dis muslim and christian arguments alone...it will lead us nowhere..let's devote ourselves to entrenching truth, honesty, discipline and hardwork in our natn,it doesn't mata wat syde of d divide we belong to...let's fight bad leadership together..let's speak d truth, root for d truth and say no to corruptn @ levels...Nigeria must get better, things must get better,we must get it right.

When will it be late? If there is christian holiday, why can't we have traditional and islamic ones? People are not comfortable because Islam is involved? There is nothing wrong with the decision (except that we now have too many public holidays in Nigeria).

Is the New Year day a Christian holiday? Did you ever hear of a public holiday to celebrate Christian's New Year? If you want to hear about my opinion, I don't care if they scrap all religious holidays and that doesn't make me any less of a Christian. This is a breach of office and here you are supporting it.

Did he seek an approval from the State House of Assembly before announcing such an holiday? Do you know how much the state office loses for not working tomorrow?

See all this hypocrites complaining about fanaticism. Nigerian is neither a Christian state nor an Islamic state. So I think they should have equal rights, if we give holiday for easter ( the death of 1 ordinary dude), why is it extreme to declare a holiday for the New year celebration of a group of people.

The death of a dude u said?? Ileya holiday and one other holiday 4 muslims nko?? U guys are always biased!!! The fact is Aregbe is a fanatic... I see him transforming osun to a muslim. State...

Are you telling me traditional religion doesn't exist in our country? Let us understand each oda religion and work together to achieve greater height. God bless Nigeria.

No doubt, there is an economic loss and that's why I believe the number of public holidays in Nigeria is just too high.

However, where is it written that an approval must be sought before declaring public holidays? A number of state governments have declared public holidays (june 12 etc) without recourse to house of assembly? Why is this one different? Which law, in particular, has Aregbe breached?

We all think of changing the word but we've never for a second think of changing out thought nd self....We relentlessly talk of and fight for eqaul right but it seems we're still ignorantly burying any progress on it....if holiday can be declared for christian new year,Should it be an issue if muslim are entittled as well?beside, muslim celebrate new year as if it theirs. shouldn't christian return the favour too?,,,as for the issue of food nt being on table or low productivity,no muslim ever complain of this during christain new year celebration.......frankly speaking,Let respect and tolerate each others religion and stop fighting for domination.....we've got enough things to cooperate and fight against, not religion.
