About this time, Femi Fani-kayode had equally cemented a political relationship with the former Biafra leader, Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu. And, despite the 35 year age difference between them and resistance of Chief Onoh, the loving duo took a walk down the aisle on November 12, 1994. The sixth child of C.C Onoh, Bianca and the Ikemba of Nnewi were pronounced husband and wife at Our Lady Queen of Nigerian Church in Abuja. Although, Chief Onoh barred his family members from attending, the ceremony was not devoid of pomp and pageantry, as scores of A-list celebrities came to witness the holy solemnization. Informed sources revealed that ‘some of us are not surprised when FFK wrote a tribute to Chief Chukwuemeka Ojukwu when he died. He surely had a relationship with both Ikemba and his wife. The poster of the article also claimed that Kemi doctored her age and that she had been a promiscuous student, aborting a pregnancy in Class 4, and before and after her WAEC, leading to kemi finishing Secondary school at age 18 when others finished at 15 or 16 years old. The posters of the article also described Kemi as arriving in the UK without knowledge of deodorant and described her as a ‘smelly outcast’ avoided by both Nigerians and British students. They also debunked Kemi’s claim that she was friends with former Governor Saraki, Lanre Tejuosho, Segun Cole, Agu Irukwu and Toyin Ojora. At the point of Kemi’s sojourn in the UK, her father had not become governor and she was a non-entity who had clearly wanted to belong but who was a social misfit. In a bizzare twist, two particular commentators known as T8KSY and T9KSY suddenly hijacked the commentary which had focused entirely on Kemi Olunloyo and diverted it to Femi Fani Kayode, even leading to protests from other commentators that the topic had digressed from Kemi Olunloyo’s deception to Fani Kayode. AT some point, a poster called Infotekniks2, possibly a security company, identified T8KSY and T9KSY as Femi Fani Kayode, stating that Fani Kayode had used the ID to post severally and had claimed the ID as his own on his facebook page. With this revelation came a torrent of comments calling out Fani Kayode. A cursory inspection of the posts of T8KSY and T9KSY on Google showed that they had over 64 pages of posts which reveal a flood of abusing crude comments, mostly directed against Igbo people. His verbal diatribe against Igbos was particularly vicious, at one point claiming that post 2015, no Igbos will live in his territory. Unfortunately, T8KSY is directly traceable to Fani Kayode and the focus of T8KSY on Bianca became obsessive considering that the article was directed against Kemi Olunloyo and her recent attack on Tiwa Savage. In a bizzare claim, T8KSY claimed that Fani Kayode knew Bianca in Cambridge in 1985 and he was immediately called out by a poster called ‘Vikingman’ who claimed to have been at the Law School with Fani Kayode in 1985. Indeed, Law School records prove beyond doubt that Fani Kayode was at the Nigerian Law School throughout 1985 and certainly could not have been in the UK where Bianca was at that point. From the above, it means that (A): Kemi Olunloyo was in the UK for only 1 year and left for the USA in 1982 when neither her father nor Bianca’s father were yet governors. B: Onoh, Bianca’s father, became governor in 1983; C: Fani Kayode was in Cambridge for only 1 year (1983-1984) and left the UK for Nigeria in 1984; D: Fani Kayode was in Law School, Lagos throughout 1985; E: It then follows that Fani Kayode could not have been in the UK with Bianca in 1985; F: Kemi Omololu could not have been a witness to the claimed romance since she was in America at that material time and Fani Kayode was in Lagos at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos unless both of them were spirits! G: Logically then, all Kemi Olunloyo said was pure fabrication as stated by her class-mates! Logically also, Fani Kayode could only have been hallucinating of a relationship with someone at a time and place that could not be! It is then quite clear that Fani Kayode and Kemi Olunloyo appear to be in some sort of unholy alliance. Our efforts to reach the names mentioned was partially successful as one of them, speaking on condition of anonymity, told us that Kemi was delusional and that he did not know her in London and he doubted if the others mentioned had anything to do with Kemi either. Kemi’s mythical ‘London crowd’ was also jeered at as a figment of her overactive imagination. The source told us that the different ages of those mentioned by Kemi precludes their academic paths crossing and he was particularly amused by the thought of someone being in a class with another person 7 years their junior, going by the claims of the different parties involved. He pointed out that by the time an 11 year old is in secondary school, a 4 year old is still in nursery! Likewise, a 25 years old postgraduate student would be seriously deranged to be claiming to be at school with a 17 year old student. He told us to go and do our maths and use our intelligence! The most shocking revelation was that since the registration of T8KSY and T9KSY in 2010, he had been posting abusive messages about Bianca, making it a point of duty to follow any topic with her name and posting very vicious, dirty comments which exposed him as extremely disturbed and full of hate. It is indeed a shame that a former Minister of Nigeria, even without a job, should spend his entire time on the internet following the life of one woman who he abused for 3 consecutive years on the internet before suddenly claiming that he’d had a relationship with her. Unfortunately for him, he himself also proved himself a liar by his hound-dog focus on Bianca on an article about Kemi Olunloyo and exposing himself as a pure liar. In a bizzare claim, T8KSY claimed that Fani Kayode knew Bianca in Cambridge in 1985 and he was immediately called out by a poster called ‘Vikingman’ who claimed to have been at the Law School with Fani Kayode in 1985. Indeed, Law School records prove beyond doubt that Fani Kayode was at the Nigerian Law School throughout 1985 and certainly could not have been in the UK where Bianca was at that point. From the above, it means that (A): Kemi Olunloyo was in the UK for only 1 year and left for the USA in 1982 when neither her father nor Bianca’s father were yet governors. B: Onoh, Bianca’s father, became governor in 1983; C: Fani Kayode was in Cambridge for only 1 year (1983-1984) and left the UK for Nigeria in 1984; D: Fani Kayode was in Law School, Lagos throughout 1985; E: It then follows that Fani Kayode could not have been in the UK with Bianca in 1985; F: Kemi Omololu could not have been a witness to the claimed romance since she was in America at that material time and Fani Kayode was in Lagos at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos unless both of them were spirits! G: Logically then, all Kemi Olunloyo said was pure fabrication as stated by her class-mates! Logically also, Fani Kayode could only have been hallucinating of a relationship with someone at a time and place that could not be! It is then quite clear that Fani Kayode and Kemi Olunloyo appear to be in some sort of unholy alliance. Our efforts to reach the names mentioned was partially successful as one of them, speaking on condition of anonymity, told us that Kemi was delusional and that he did not know her in London and he doubted if the others mentioned had anything to do with Kemi either. Kemi’s mythical ‘London crowd’ was also jeered at as a figment of her overactive imagination. The source told us that the different ages of those mentioned by Kemi precludes their academic paths crossing and he was particularly amused by the thought of someone being in a class with another person 7 years their junior, going by the claims of the different parties involved. He pointed out that by the time an 11 year old is in secondary school, a 4 year old is still in nursery! Likewise, a 25 years old postgraduate student would be seriously deranged to be claiming to be at school with a 17 year old student. He told us to go and do our maths and use our intelligence! The most shocking revelation was that since the registration of T8KSY and T9KSY in 2010, he had been posting abusive messages about Bianca, making it a point of duty to follow any topic with her name and posting very vicious, dirty comments which exposed him as extremely disturbed and full of hate. It is indeed a shame that a former Minister of Nigeria, even without a job, should spend his entire time on the internet following the life of one woman who he abused for 3 consecutive years on the internet before suddenly claiming that he’d had a relationship with her. Unfortunately for him, he himself also proved himself a liar by his hound-dog focus on Bianca on an article about Kemi Olunloyo and exposing himself as a pure liar. The friends of Tiwa Savage seem to have achieved more than they ever aimed for and opened a big can of worms and would appear to have unwittingly exposed the fact that both Kemi Olunloyo and Femi Fani Kayode seem to be involved in some kind of vendetta against Bianca. |

FANI-KAYODE- THE CURE FOR MADNESS By Thompson Aguranta As I listen, read and watch him on Television, the old saying that one cannot completely cure madness rings persistently true in my ears. It is said that however hard one tries to cure a mad man of his insanity, once in a while, traces of the madness pops up to remind us all to be careful and mindful of our relationship with him and how we judge his actions and utterances. Femi Fani-Kayode exemplifies this age-long belief. Fani-Kayode is a known drug addict who went into a rehab home in Ghana not so long ago. Unknown to the Medics, the damage done to the faculties of their patient through a life-time of smoking and sniffing all kinds of hard substances is, in the age-long reckoning, incurable. Or perhaps, even in his moments of insanity, Fani-Kayode was able to con the Medics that he was back to his senses. It was on this innocuous presumption of full recovery that he was discharged. Now, Fani-Kayode’s condition is in full and irreversible relapse-and the nation, particularly the Aviation Ministry and Princess Stella Oduah, the Minister are innocent victims. But it didn’t begin here. At several times, his unstable mind had driven him to wage verbal, understandably incoherent wars against respected Statesman and former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, wife of former Biafran Warlord; Chief Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Bianca Onoh, the Igbo nation, etc, etc. During his stewardship as Cabinet Minister, stories were rife of his truancy caused by the effect of hard drugs. He was said to be hardly on his desk, and when he did appear, the short spells were said to be characterised by busts of tantrums aimed at Senior and Junior staff alike. At meetings, he was decidedly opaque, incoherent and intemperate. During extreme spasms and fits as a result of the ‘influence’, he was said to be very subdued, yet quite erratic and unapproachable. It was therefore a huge relief to the staff, when he literarily abdicated his responsibilities which were then carried out by personal aides. It is common knowledge that while at the aviation Ministry especially, his SA’s and PA’s ran the office-it was that bad, but the staff were spared the dreadful and intermittent moments of insanity by the Boss. Now, it is very doubtful if a man in such an unstable state of mind, even after permanent residency in rehab centres, can make any sound judgement on any subject-matter, talk less of the very technical and sophisticated field of aviation. How can such an insane man be conversant with Aviation rules and regulations, as well as industry international best practice! Your guess is as good as mine. His vitriol therefore, against the person and office of Princess Stella Oduah, Hon.Minister of Aviation can best be understood as a product of an unsound mind. It is important that Femi Fani-Kayode’s outburst regarding what he thinks is wrong with the Minister and the sector should be taken with a pinch of salt, knowing as it were, that he speaks largely under the influence. Yet, we can understand his frustrations during his few moment of sanity with Ministry of Aviation. Impeccable sources indicate that for a long time now, Fani-Kayode who is @very broke’’, had been depending on some of the agency Heads for hand-outs and survival. But as everyone knows, a helping hand can only do so much! When the source of his survival began to dry up, he, being of an unsound mind, thought there was an instruction from the ‘Oga at the top’ to close the tap. The crash of the Associated Airlines aircraft of Oct. 8th only provided opportunity to vent his anger against the Minister. Perhaps, it is important to point out that his tenure at the Aviation ministry was decidedly notorious for all the wrong reasons. In the few instances where his mind was stable, he contrived to defraud the federal government of the N17billion Aviation Intervention Fund. He was also said to have designated one of his numerous girlfriends (a Youth Corps member) to be a Signatory to Accounts operated by FAAN, NCAA, NAMA and the parent ministry. Through this ingenious act, several billions of naira were siphoned from the coffers of government. It was therefore not surprising when; a few years ago the EFCC arrested, detained and commenced his prosecution. To date, he is still standing trial for the wanton fraud and corruption committed as Aviation Minister. Luckily, he might eventually get away with this if his Lawyers are smart enough to plead insanity! How can a man with such corrupt tendencies accuse the current Aviation Minister, or any other Nigerian for that matter, of corruption? Nigerians be the judge. One final word on Fani-Kayode’s insanity. Those close to Fani-Kayode can ask him to approach the Aviation Minister to bail him financially in order to enable him resume his rehabilitation in Ghana or elsewhere. In spite of the vitriol, those who are close to Oduah say her magnanimity, philanthropy and humane disposition would not allow her to turn down an opportunity to help another human being who is truly in need-especially when it has to do with a depressing and embarrassing disease as insanity. Mr. Fani-Kayode, in a statement by his Personal Assistant, Tosin Emmanuel, said that he welcomes “whatever course of action” Mrs. Ojukwu’s lawyer intends to pursue. The former minister also said that he would institute his own legal proceedings against the widow of the late Biafran warlord “for her barefaced and malicious lies and consistent claim” that she has never met him. After claiming, in his controversial piece ‘A Word For Those Who Call Me A Tribalist’ that he had had a “long-standing and intimate relationship” with Mrs. Ojukwu while she was unmarried; Mr. Fani-Kayode Thursday, withdrew the comment. Mr. Fani-Kayode had also extended his ‘retraction’ to Adaobi Uchegbu and Chioma Anasoh, the two other ladies he mentioned in his article. But Mrs. Ojukwu, in her response, stated that Mr. Fani-Kayode’s statement “falls far short of an apology and retraction.” “Whilst it is important to reiterate that Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu has never met Chief Femi Kayode and does not know him in person, it is pertinent to note that the statement issued through Mr Akinola Babatunde Rotimi, falls far short of an apology and retraction of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode’s false and libelous outbursts and is merely a desperate attempt to lend credence to fabrications, which he seeks to present as reality with intent to gloss over the very serious issues arising from the reckless publication,” Mrs. Ojukwu said in a statement by her Personal Assistant, Isaac Igboanu. “In the circumstances, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu is left with no option than to leave the matter in the hands of her lawyers,” she added. The former beauty queen’s reply angered Mr. Fani-Kayode who responded, on Monday, with a tersely worded statement saying that Mrs. Ojukwu’s demeanour indicates that she is desperate to go to war over the issue as well as cover up “the truth about their past.” “We really do wonder what Mrs. Ojukwu really wants from Chief Fani-Kayode and what her agenda really is? “Throughout this matter Chief Fani-Kayode has chosen the path of peace and has attempted to avoid an ugly and public quarrel with Bianca Ojukwu out of respect to the memory of her late father Chief C.C. Onoh and the memory of her late husband, Dim Emeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu,” Mr. Fani-Kayode said. The ex-minister stated that despite “bending over backwards” to publicly withdraw his comments in several national and online newspapers, Mrs. Ojukwu has refused to be appeased. “This is sad and unfortunate and it is beyond the imagination of anyone that a serving Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria would so readily and so easily be given to telling such lies. “Chief Fani-Kayode is not comfortable with publicly joining issues with ladies when it comes to matters of a private nature such as this because he was well brought up and he is a gentleman but it is clear that Bianca Ojukwu is desperate to go to war over this issue and to cover up the truth about their past,” said Mr. Fani-Kayode. “It is also clear that she has constituted herself into the arrowhead of a group of people that are determined to use her and this whole unsavoury episode to attempt to distract attention from the wider and more important issues raised in the essay and to discredit him. “Since that is the case we welcome whatever action Ojukwu wishes to take in court and we shall gladly meet her there. “We will also be instigating our own legal proceedings against her in due course for her barefaced and malicious lies and her consistent claim that she has never met Chief Fani-Kayode all in an attempt to libel, defame, diminish and discredit him before the entire world,” he added. Mr. Fani-Kayode reiterated that not only did he have a relationship with Mrs. Ojukwu, but that he “knew her far better than she cares to publicly admit.” “The precise nature of that relationship will be explored and exposed in open court,” Mr. Fani-Kayode said. “It is not in the nature of Chief Fani-Kayode to fight unnecessary and distractive battles over flippant matters such as this but on this occasion he has been compelled to do so simply because he will do whatever it takes to protect his integrity and establish the fact that he has told no lie. “Since she has continued her shameless perfidy and wishes to tread the path of deceit and confrontation then so be it. “Finally let it be clearly understood that at no point did Chief Fani-Kayode lie about the nature of his relationship with Ojukwu. However he did not feel that it was appropriate or necessary to share the details of that relationship with the public because he felt that such matters were strictly private. “The fact that she mistook his mature exercise of restraint and discretion, even when provoked and insulted, his desire for peace and his gentlemanly nature for weakness is not only unfortunate but also a grave miscalculation on her part. “Once again we reiterate the fact that we counsel Ojukwu to take whatever course of action she pleases and we welcome this opportunity to expose her for what she is. “The matter has been referred to our lawyers for final preparation. They will prepare a vigorous defence to Ojukwu’s absurd allegations and they will also determine our next line of action against her,” Mr. Fani-Kayode said. |
