I lived with a friend in the same room for 12 years and only found out he was hiv +ve and gay at the 10th year. At that time, he had started fallen terribly sick, lungs failure, fever, loss of weight, skin infection etc. It was difficult decision. My gf strongly suggested I moved out but on 2nd thought I realized we had been living our normal lives all this years and I wasn't infected (my office mandates us to run check ups every 3months), I thought maybe I should just stay and act normal besides I and my friend were like brothers, it would hurt him if I just leave like that. I took him to his family where he was given proper medical attention after which he got well and came back to my room. We stayed for more two years until he moved out of the state for a job and I am still -ve.

You can live with your sister without catching the virus. Given proper medical attention plus anti retroviral drugs, she can live a healthy life and not infect any body. But you have to be brave to this, don't stay if you are always going to directly or indirectly remind her of her situation. Stigmatization kills faster than the actual disease.

This is the genesis of our argument which is that literacy affects development but literacy is not intelligence, it only enhances it.

Bornos dominance in west Africa from the 10th to the 19th century is not pre historic. Please go and read up on what pre historic is. Maybe it's prehistoric if literacy is new to you but the history of Borno and other Northern states is well documented from the middle ages. Going by your argument during this time period the North was smarter than the South and have therefore been smarter for a much longer period. Hence, given the full history of our nations, the North is generally smarter than the South no?

In the end you keep dancing back and forth because you don't know what your argument is. First you said literacy is intelligence and that intelligence equals developments, then you said russians and chinese are smarter than qataris and hence more developed. This is an exam that is set by German and Chinese Physicist, u can Google about the school. some time in 2016, PTDF sent some of her oversea scholars to d school instead of sending them to UK. My advice is don't argue about intelligent, smartness e.t.c on the bases of region or even among your own people or friends bcuz those you think are not intelligent or smart, if given the previllage and opportunity they will do far better than you

Population has nothing to do with anything, when people are dumb they are dumb! Russia has more population than Qatar yet has a society as developed as it, if not more. China has more than quadruple the size of Qatar yet is a more developed society than it.

Literacy and intelligence don't mean the same thing. Yes, the quality of your human resources which is significantly down to literacy is what ultimately determines what you can do with the hand you're dealt but it's important to make this distinction.

Given the resources middle east countries control, the indo-asian countries you mention would dust all the middle east countries put together considering how developed they are now with the little resources they have.

Not really. A lot of middle eastern countries for instance are more developed than Indian subcontinent countries like Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. Based on my experience you can't even begin to compare the intelligence of these demographics at all. Furthermore, literacy is different from intelligence. There are a lot of regions in Nigeria that were historically more developed than other regions in Nigeria before falling behind because of missing the train on modern education in the 20th century. It will surprise so many people here to know that from a historical perspective Borno was by far the most advanced and literate society in Nigeria up until the end of the 19th century. This is not an issue you can make a blanket statement on. Literacy is not intelligence.

Theirs one simple way to know if a people are intelligent and smart, how developed their society is

For the umpteenth time, there's nothing like quota system consideration or FCC consideration for PTDF, every individual is competing against people from their states, every state is usually allotted 4 slots for MSC with an additional 2 for Oil producing states.

Kindly leave out the North when pushing your divisive agenda and focus on your performance and that of selected persons from your state; because you have never travelled doesn't mean you're the only educated individual in the world, a humble visit to the Abuja center will deliver you of your ignorance, because some Northerners are even way smarter, intelligent and sound than any of the persons you know from your state, but awon oloshi will not allow you to reason clearly.
