There would have been nothing wrong if you asked the HR guy to tell you the pay range for the role. You would have just slotted your answer very close to the top end of it ![]() Anyway, a topic was posted just today which should be helpful to you, check https://www.nairaland.com/2501236/5-ways-should-research-employers Also, you can check this Nigerian employer review website https://ngcareers.com/all-reviews with the hope that your prospective employer has been reviewed there. Bottom line: Do some good research on the company. Good luck! |

Obviously this car is not for everybody. I've been approached by a few dealers who want to re-sell however I would prefer this car be sold direct to an end-user who would appreciate it - ideally someone looking to buy something similar and would like to save a few millions. Costs N23.5m brand new from Briscoe. Call 08050602777 if you have any questions or to arrange to see the car. Some more pictures:

This vehicle is owned by a very close contact. It was bought brand new and used for one year but is now surplus to his vehicle requirements which is the reason for this sale. It's in super excellent condition with no issues whatsoever. Everything works. It's another one of the sharp, low-mileage cars I put up for sale from time to time. Check https://www.nairaland.com/440724/bmw-320-sale-15182km-steal and https://www.nairaland.com/505525/bmw-320-sale-4667km-more and a few others on my profile. The car is in Lekki and available to view. The owner is asking for N14m. If you're interested please call me on 08050602777 to discuss further. Modified 18/08 **Unfortunately Nairaland appears to have lost some of my car sale posts when it was hacked last year** (Thanks to an enquirer for letting me know) Here are some pictures:

Okay, supremacy belongs to the people (although that’s not how Nigerian politicians practice this thing they call democracy). However, the people have now given a mandate to a political party so it's absolutely foolish for Mr Dogara to continue to use the “people supremacy” line to attempt to deceive Nigerians after the people have entrusted their power to his political party. Or are the people able to elect principal officers in the NASS? Mr Dogara's arguments are watery, defensive, and insulting to my own intelligence because it is clear to me that he is only trying to excuse the role he played in driving APC/NASS into the recent crisis just for his self glorification. Therefore, I am not fooled. On a different note, it remains a pity (after all these years) to continue to read comments that exhibit a lack of application of basic reasoning here on this forum, however, I would like to commend the writers of these following comments for standing out from the crowd: funlord: blackpanda: |

Mixty: Nabsprada: Nice jobThe thread is still on the Career front page. |
He does the same at Chelsea where as far as I'm concerned he's just a contractual liability. Having watched dozens of Chelsea games through many seasons I was not even surprised by mikel's performance at the WC. I don't like him at Chelsea either as he slows down play AND contributes little to attack - why would any competitive coach want to play a lazy player like him? Where is 1025? I'd like to read how you'd defend 'ya broda' on this one as it is your customary practice ![]() |
Chelsea is probably taking the responsibility for his transportation because it's an official engagement + they need him back to training as quickly as possible. There are a lot of games coming up and management appears not ready to take chances with commercial flights. Good for Mikel though I don't think he would have planned to return that quickly if he made his own way down. |
Hello OP I read through this thread on new year's day and I could relate to a lot of the information in here. I was quite impressed with what I read and shared it with someone, and intend to share it with others. Please pay the scorners no attention because it's really not worthwhile. Remember the parable of the sower, even when the signs are right there before their eyes many people will still reject the truth, unfortunately. Mark 4.11-12: And He said to them, to you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so that seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them. Though it's right to try to make them see the truth it's not worthwhile. People like that have existed since the days of Noah, and even our Lord Jesus was scorned so it's nothing to lose sleep over. It's still a shame anyway. So just disregard them and continue putting out this valuable information. |
Funmi's writing raises good points about the state we're in as a country and I appreciate her fine sense of observation. Unfortunately it's these kind of points that Nigerians as a people aren't interested in. You don't need to think too hard or look too far for evidence. Just read through the comments that'll follow (esp if this makes the NL front page) and you'll find yet another brand of the Nigerian multi-problem. As a people we've been absolutely lazy and fearful to tackle our societal problems. We've left them unattended for so long and they have been evolving over time. That evolution over decades broke out into psychological decay years ago and now our minds are rotten. That's why now, if we're observant, Nigeria's greatest problem is the state of mind of the Nigerian citizen. The problem is no longer tangible and that's why it appears so hard, if not impossible, to fix Nigeria. It is a highly unfortunate but accurate description that most Nigerians want: Hesienberg: To flaunt luxuries but live in situations so far removed from the vision of life those luxuries where designed for.2 days ago someone said a similar thing on some other thread that: EBK2: Everyone in Nigeria is suffering (rich and poor alike). Those that are doing well just take consolation in the fact that they are doing better than their 'neighbours' but... everyone in Nigeria is suffering physically and mentally due to structural problems associated with Nigerian society, and this includes the very wealthy.I just wonder when we'll wake up from this evil dream. |
Ibime: Go study in Scotland. They give you one year visa after your studies thereThat was aages ago before they set up the UKBA to run a uniform immigration system for the UK. Not anymore. |
claremont: I wouldn't advice any international student to come to the UK at the moment, especially those who have plans to settle here. This is because of the current hostile immigration climate. You would be better off going to places like Canada, USA, or Australia where they have a much more friendly immigration policies. This is as good as the best advise you will get anywhere. Take it gracefully and apply it. |
