Ideally you should let the person know you don't appreciate their language towards you and that you want them to stop it, but in Nigeria, that move may end up working against you. Is it a one-off or recurrent thing? Ask co-employees about their experience with the person. Try and find out if you're the only target of the insults or others are also affected. Stan1990:Thanks. My comment is along the same lines. The whole thing sounds fishy else how come the public was not informed of the scheme at inception? How did 51,000 unemployed graduates apply for a government empowerment scheme since many months ago that we did not hear pim? My take: it's all audio, or some sort of self serving scheme of no benefit to those who actually need it. |

Big congratulations to Rangers! It's great to clinch the title again after a decade of absolute Celtic dominance due to Rangers' heavy demotion, while also exciting to have a young manager like Stevie G at the helm. I'm really pleased for the Ibrox faithful especially because it's a thoroughly deserved title achieved in style with superb results and performances - 28 games unbeaten is no mean feat! As for Gerrard, a couple more seasons managing at this level (SPL/Championship) and he may be ready for an EPL job - lesson there for Frank Lampard. 1 Like |

The distinction between Computer Science and Computer Engineering is fading away and nowadays you need skills from both sides in the workplace. Thus my practical advise would be to choose the one that offers you a greater chance of securing admission. You could also decide based on your personal interest - google the courses of study under both majors and see which you're more comfortable with. Nigerian Universities deliver outdated curricula anyway, particularly for Technology based programs and you'd most likely still have to get professional qualifications to prove your proficiency in your chosen field so your choice of degree ultimately doesn't matter post-graduation, as much as the hands on skills you possess. 2 Likes |

With the information you've shared, you seem to have your decision making made easy already. Since you know you don't want to stay in Uyo, what you should be thinking of is how to make the Aba plan work. Start looking for contacts there through the people you know. Both for the skill acquisition and accommodation. Give yourself time to gather a few options to decide from. I quite agree that leaving from your comfort zone will be better for you professionally in the long term. 2 Likes |
