EZEKIEL 23 : 48
Throughout the land I will put a stop to immorality, as a warning to every woman not to commit adultery as they did.

EXODUS 20 : 14
" Do not commit adultery.

Stay away from adultery because adultery can make a person died before his or her time. Avoid adultery, as a person would avoid a live wire which is also called naked wire. A person who refuse to avoid a naked wire on the road and decide to play with the live wire such a person would be electrocuted.

You can avoid adultery by the help of God ;through prayers and obedience to the word of God.
Why lose control over yourself? It is time to stop obeying the voice of devil that is deceiving you to commit adultery always. God is not happy with those who commit adultery. Why commit adultery when you have a wife. Adultery refer to when a married man or married woman have sexual intercourse with someone that is not his or her wife or husband.
Jesus Christ further explain that any man who see a woman and desire to have sex with her commit adultery in his heart.
Today the ancient serpent also called the devil and know as Lucifer the ugliest dragon deceive married men and women into adultery. The devil is using adultery as a tool to steal the glory and blessings of different family. So many men and women have been trick into the sin of adultery by the kingdom of darkness so that they can have the right to plunder and loot the blessings of those who commit adultery and with the blessings of their family. Any man or woman who commit adultery has opened the door of his family to the devil and his demons and his agents to cause confusion and troubles in their family.

PROVERBS 5 : 15
Be faithful to your own wife and give your love to her alone.

PROVERBS 23 : 27 - 28
Prostitutes and immoral women are a deadly trap. 28 They wait for you like robbers and cause many men to be unfaithful.

Married man, married woman stop committing adultery because the kingdom of heaven is near. Turn away from your sins before it is too late. There is no profit in committing adultery. Husband give your love to your wife, wife give your love to your husband. Married men and women commit your marriage into the protective and caring hands of God through regular prayers. Do not give the devil and his agents a chance in your life and marriage. Be self-control, do not lust over other people wife but be satisfied with your wife. Avoid prostitutes and immoral women and men. Do not allow any man or woman to seduce you into committing adultery. Stop the unfaithfulness towards your wife or husband. Husband be faithful to the wife you married, and wife be faithful to the husband you married. Always pray for your marriage and cover your marriage with the blood of Jesus Christ and with the fire of God so that you may prevent the devil and his agents from attacking your marriage.

HEBREWS 13 : 4

TODAY TOPIC : Laziness Responsible For The Misfortune Of Many People

2 THESSALONIANS 3 : 10 - 12
10 While we were with you, we used to say to you, " Whoever refuses to work is not allowed to eat."
11 We say this because we hear that there are some people among you who live lazy lives and who do nothing except meddle in other people's business. 12 In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we command these people and warn them to lead orderly lives and work to earn their own living.

Praise be to the God of heaven, the God we serve is not Lazy. God is saying to his people stop been lazy and receive my help to overcome laziness. It is not good for a Christian to be lazy. God want Christians to be hardworking so he can bless them. Say to yourself ; I will never live a lazy life by the help of God. Laziness is a dangerous thing that can cause harm and confusion to people and bring about misfortune. When a person is lazy it is very difficult for such person to get what he or she desire.

Laziness have make a lot of people to lose their Job; you are employ as a worker and ask to come to work every day by 8:30am but because of laziness you come to work by 9:30am every day because of that you are sack from your place of work.

You are a student and exam is next month instead of studying and preparing for exam you sleep for 16hours and play for 8hours. When exam start, you are confused and don't know what to write and when results is out, you have failed the exam.

There were two farmers, one farmer was hardworking while the other farmer was lazy.

The hardworking farmer farm for the love of farming. During planting period the farmer will pray to God for a successful farming. The farmer goes to his farm for the main purpose of planting seeds, during the planting period the hardworking farmer cultivate his farm, clears the thorns on his farm and remove the weeds on the ground and ensure that his farm stone wall was not destroyed. The hardworking farmer watch and nuture the growth of his plants and wait for harvesting periods.
During this harvesting periods the hardworking farmer harvest his crops and he is happy because his hard work was not in vain. He give God thanks and praise God for his goodness towards his farm business. He sell his crops and he becomes rich.

But the lazy farmer is always sleeping, the lazy farmer love farming but the love of sleeping will not let him take his farming very serious. He will say to himself tomorrow I will go farming because it is planting period but when tomorrow comes he says to himself, I am tired I need to have little sleep, and then after a little folding of the hands to rest, then he sleep. When he woke up it is night already, he says to himself what have I done, I will not have a little sleep tommorow because I must go farming, it is planting period. Tommorow comes he prepare to go to farm but say to himself I must have a little sleep before going to farm, he then sleep. Then this lazy farmer continues this habit till the harvesting period. Then the lazy farmer saw the hardworking farmer coming home with his harvested crops. The lazy farmer screamed what have I done to myself now, look how laziness have allowed poverty to come on me like a theif and scarcity like an armed man. The lazy farmer regretted his laziness but it was too late for him because it was harvesting period. He would not be harvesting any crops.

PROVERBS 19 : 15
Be lazy if you want to; sleep on, but you will go hungry.

It is time to stand up against laziness. It is time to speak up and let laziness know that you can not be a friend to laziness. To overcome laziness you need to pray to God to give you the help to overcome laziness and be hardworking and have a good plan to achieve your good goals.

There were two business men, one of the business men was hardworking while the other business man was lazy.

The lazy business man have a goal to make profit of 200,000 naira by the end of the year. But the lazy business man was not serious with his business. He goes to his shop very late; by 12PM he is in the shop and close his shop by 3PM. He does not come to his shop always, he goes to his shop two time in a week; Monday and Thursday. When he is in the shop, all he does is to sleep. He has no plan on how he can achieve the profit of 200,000 naira before the year end. And when customers comes to buy his product in the shop he insult and disrespect the customers. He never bother to pray to God to help him achieve his plan goal to make 200,000 naira profit by the end of year. The year was over, he said to himself what is happening, why am I not making progress in my business. I think someone is jealous of me and does not want me to progress in my business he looks up and down and shake his head. Then he sat down on the chair in his shop and decided to think and remember how he has been doing his business. He reflected with sadness on his unsuccessful business plan goal and realized that his laziness and his disrespect for God was the cause of his downfall but it was too late because the year was over.

But the hardworking business man also have a goal to make 200,000 naira before the end of the year. The first step the hardworking business man took was to pray to God to bless his plan to make profit of 200,000 naira before the end of the year. Then the second step he took was to make a good plan on how to achieve his good goal of making 200,000 naira before the end of the year. Then third step was for him to take action by been hardworking and by following his plan. The hardworking business man goes to his shop on time as early as 8AM he is in the shop and close by 5PM. He goes to his shop five times in a week from Monday to Friday. He have respect for his customers and talk to them politely. He advertise his business on Newspaper, Radio, Television Stations and Internet. When he is in the shop, he does not sleep, but lookout for customers to buy his product. By the end of the year he was so happy because he achieve his business goal. He was able to make profit of 600,000 naira. He was expecting profit of 200,000 naira but because of his respect for God and his hard work he made more profit than he expected.

PROVERBS 12 : 27
If you are lazy, you will never get what you are after, but if you work hard, you will get a fortune.

PROVERBS 16 : 3
Ask the LORD to bless your plans, and you will be successful in carrying them out.

God of heaven want to bless his people but because of the laziness of some people of God, their blessings are delayed. The laziness becomes obstacle to their blessings. Every child of God can overcome laziness if they can learn to pray to God for help, make a good plan to achieve their goal and be hardworking in whatever they do. Laziness can not overcome a Christian who is determine to work hard. Hard work will help you to get what you want. If you want to be successful in life you have to say NO to laziness and say YES to HARD WORK.
Do not allow yourself to be distracted, stay focused on what you want and work hard to achieve it.
Laziness refer to when a person can not get what he or she want because the person were unwilling to take action. While Hard work refer to when a person get what he or she want because the person was willing to take action. God loves his people and want them to be successful in whatever they do.

ROMANS 12 : 11
Work hard and do not be lazy. Serve the Lord with a heart full of devotion.

For you to receive the blessings of God you have to become one Of the people of God by been born again. If you are not yet a born again, know this God loves you and Jesus Christ love you.

JOHN 3 : 16
For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.

If you have two clothes and you see a person that don't have one give one clothe to the person. If you have food and see someone who is hungry share food with him or her. Do good things and stop doing evil because God is coming with Jesus Christ and his millions of angels to judge the world.

PROVERBS 15:15
The life of the poor is a constant struggle, but happy people always enjoy life.

PROVERBS 16:20
Pay attention to what you are taught, and you will be successful; trust in the LORD and you will be happy

I welcome you to this beautiful day, a day to remember and not to forget because you will be encouraged by knowing that the Lord has defeated the attacks of the spirit of poverty that have become an obstacle to your financial breakthrough.

2 CORINTHIANS 8:9
You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ; rich as he was, he made himself poor for your sake, in order to make you rich by means of his poverty.

God wants his people to be free from poverty. Poverty have made a lot of people to backslide from doing good things.

Poverty have caused a lot of worrisome issue for people:

You want to go to church but you do not have transport money for transporting your self to church because of that you decide to stay at home and not go to church.
You are about going to church but you are thinking; I don't have offering money because of that you decide not to go to church.
You want to go to church but you remember you have not eaten since yesterday because of that you decide not to go to church so you wouldn't faint during the church service due to hunger.

Poverty have made you not to support the things of God, when your pastor say the church generator is not good that everyone should contribute so the generator can be repair because you do not have any money in your pocket or at home or in the bank, you become unhappy and you cannot contribute any money while you watch your fellow members giving to God cheerfully.

You are jobless and can not provide for your needs and you watch people you know going to their job in the morning and returning back in the afternoon or in evening and you are confused and blaming people and God for your poverty.
You don't have money to pay for your children school fees and you are worried.
Your business is not giving you joy because it is not providing for your needs despite the efforts you put into the business. The business is making you poorer the more instead of you getting richer through your business. You borrow loan to fund the business but you don't make any profit instead you lose your business money.
You are sick but you can not buy drugs or treat your self in hospital because you have no money to buy drugs or treat your self due to the situation you try cheaper means by using leafs to treat and help yourself which take a longer time to get healed.

Do not worry because your Poverty will soon come to an end.
The God of heaven wants to help you to defeat the spirit of Poverty, if only you are prepared. To receive help from heaven to defeat poverty you must trust the Lord God Almighty.

To be prepared you have to do this things:

MATTHEW 6:33
Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all these other things.

ISAIAH 65:2
I have always been ready to welcome my people, who stubbornly do what is wrong and go their own way.

1. Be Righteous
You must be a righteous person and not a evil person. You must say no to evil and yes to good behaviour. You have to seek first the Kingdom Of God and his righteousness and everything you need will be given to you by God. You have to repent from the wicked things you are doing and ask God for the forgiveness of sin, so he can accept your prayer and bless you with riches. God is merciful and generous. You will receive God's blessing by been obedience to the word of God.

ISAIAH 58:9
When you pray, I will answer you. When you call to me, I will respond.
"If you put an end to oppression, to every gesture of contempt, and to every evil word

PROVERBS 10:22
It is the LORD'S blessing that makes you wealthy. Hard work can make you no richer.

2. Be Prayerful
You have to be prayerful because it is by praying you will receive the blessing of God that will help you to be successful in whatever you are doing, because it is the blessing of God that will make your hard work to produce good results that will make you rich. Hard work alone can not make you rich. It is prayer that will drive away the spirit of Poverty that never wanted you to have financial freedom and live a good life.

PROVERBS 19:15
Be lazy if you want to; sleep on, but you will go hungry.

PSALMS 128:2
Your work will provide for your needs; you will be happy and prosperous.

3. Do not be Lazy

Say no to laziness and do not be a lazy person but work hard. If you don't have work, try and look for a work to do. You can even start your own business rather than staying idle and doing nothing from day to days, month to months, and year to years. Find something doing to help your self. It is through your work or business that God will use to make you rich. God also use people you know to rescue you from poverty.

PROVERBS 21:5
Plan carefully and you will have plenty; if you act too quickly, you will never have enough.

PROVERBS 16:3
Ask the LORD to bless your plans, and you will be successful in carrying them out.

4. Planning

Creat time to think and plan your life.
Plan the kind of business you want to start. Ask your self what kind of work you want to do in order to make money. Think of where to find a work to do or where to start your business.
Think of how to make good use of the money you earn from your work.
To plan well is very needed to escape poverty. Only God can help you to make a good plan that will help you to make the right choice in life. Pray before you begin planning. When ever you want to plan, have pen and book to write your ideas down. Planning will help you to move towards the right direction in order to reach your destination of becoming a rich person.

JAMES 2:17
So it is with faith: if it is alone and includes no actions, then it is dead

HEBREWS 11:1
To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see

5. Faith with actions
Combine your faith and actions together to defeat poverty.
If you are jobless and you are praying to God for a good job, and after praying you watch television, sleep and eat without going out there to seek for job or making any effort to find a work to do. You are not combining your faith and action together; it is faith without actions.
But when you pray to God for a good job and after praying, you go out to look for a job or work and by doing this you are combining your faith with actions. God will surely help you to get a good job or work according to your desire.

I welcome my readers on nairaland forum to this beautiful Sunday.
God loves you and will always be faithful to his people.
Today Sunday Bible Study is another good day for God to teach his people his word.
God wants people to have knowledge about him. God is going to use today Sunday Bible Study to deliver you from ignorance and help you to have God's knowledge in all his fullness.
God is the great teacher and the good teacher.
God will be using me to teach you his word today.

The Topic Of Today Sunday Bible Study Is : Sin Has Fallen

ROMANS 4:25
Because of our sins he was handed over to die, and he was raised to life in order to put us right with God.

1 JOHN 2:2
And Christ himself is the means by which our sins are forgiven, and not our sins only, but also the sins of everyone.

God is merciful and is willing to forgive the sins of anyone. God has a good plan for everyone who fear him and obey his commands.
God is not please with those who are living in sin and do not want to repent and turn away from the evil they do.
I want you to understand what sins mean; Sin mean when a person or people disobey the word of God thereby committing evil.
When God told Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit from the tree that gives knowledge of what is good and bad in the Garden of Eden but they disobey the word of God and eat the fruit from the tree that gives knowledge of what is good and what is bad.
When Satan deceive Eve, then Eve persuade Adam to eat the fruit. Adam and Eve sin against God by disobeying his word.
The word of God say do not commit adultery, so when a person disobey the word of God and commit adultery; such a person have sin against God. God hate human disobedience to his word.

When Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world; he defeated sin.
Jesus Christ broke the power of sin over mankind.
Through the death of Jesus Christ, mankind was set free from the power of sin.

Sin has fallen because sin was defeated by the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross to set humans free their sins. So you can defeat sin if only you will believe in the word of God and obey it.
Christ Jesus has set humanity free from been prisoners of sin. Through the death of Jesus Christ, the forgiveness of sin is possible. Through the death of Jesus Christ the wages of sins was paid. So whoever repent from their sins and pray to God for the forgiveness of sin; will be forgiven because God is merciful and faithful.

GALATIANS 5:19-21
19 what human nature does is quite plain. It shows itself in immoral, filthy, and indecent actions; 20 in worship of idols and witchcraft. People become enemies and they fight; they become jealous, angry, and ambitious. They separate into parties and groups; 21 they are envious, get drunk, have orgies, and do other things like these, I warn you now as I have before: those who do these things will not possess the kingdom of God.

COLOSSIANS 3:5-6
5 You must put to death, then, the earthly desires at work in you, such as sexual immorality, indecency, lust, evil passions, and greed(for greed is a form of idolatry). 6 Because of such things God's anger will come upon those who do not obey him.

Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus Christ want all to possess the kingdom of God. Jesus Christ do not want anyone to go to hell fire where they will be punished for their disobedience to the word of God.
The Kingdom Of God is a place where Christians who obey the word of God will go to when they died. Such Christians will be rewarded for the good things they do while they were on earth. The righteous will be rewarded with eternal life.
Hell fire is a place where those who do not obey the word of God will go after they died here on earth to be punished for their disobedience to the Creator of mankind.
In hell fire they will be rewarded for all the evil and wickedness they committed while on earth. God's anger will come upon them in hell fire were they will be in eternal punishment.

God have set a time for judgement, a time to judge everyone according to what they have done and to reward everyone according to what they have done on earth.
God is a good judge, who judge with fairness. God is the judge condemning some and acquitting others. God is fair and honest in his judgements.
God loves justice and good deeds. God is righteous and want people to stop doing evil and start doing what is right; by doing good deeds.
God wants people not to die before their time and to live long life on earth but the enemy and the wickedness people do are making people to die before their time. Follow the way of righteousness and live a long life on earth. Violence and wickedness make people die before their time.

COLOSSIANS 2:15
And on that cross Christ freed himself from the power of the spiritual rulers and authorities; he made a public spectacle of them by leading them as captives in his victory procession.

Satan the master of sins want to conquer the world through sins but have already failed. Because Jesus Christ defeated Satan and his power of sin on the cross. Satan has already been defeated and can no longer control mankind through sins. Jesus Christ have set the world free from satanic manipulation that is while Satan can not do whatever he likes to mankind. Because Jesus Christ have broken the power of Satan over humans.

God loves you
Jesus Christ loves you
Glory be to God.

The Topic Of Today Sunday Bible Study Is : WHO IS GOD ALMIGHTY?

GENESIS 1:1
In the beginning, when God created the universe

PSALMS 121:2
My help will come from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

God Almighty is the creator of the universe. The universe consist of the heaven and earth and everything in them. God is powerful and merciful. With his great power God created the sun, moon, stars, day and night. He created human beings, animals, plants, sea, sky and God is kind to his creatures.

ECCLESIASTES 3:1
Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses.

God is the King of kings and he chooses time when everything will happens in this world.
God sets the time for birth and the time for death. He sets the time for planting and the time for harvesting.
The time for sorrow and the time for joy. The time for silence and the time for talk.

God has set time for everything that happens in this world.
God loves all his creatures. The love of God is eternal.
He builts the earth on the deep waters. There is no gods that can be used to compare the God of heaven.
God alone performs great miracle; God is love.
God wants his people to be faithful to him just as he is faithful to his people.

JOHN 3:16
For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.

God is the father of Jesus Christ and also the heavenly Father of all Christians. God loves those who love him and acknowledge him as LORD.
Before humans were created and before time began God existed.
The LORD rules supreme in heaven, he is the judge of all. God punishes and also blesses. God rules over the whole earth, he rules over the sea, which he made and the land also which he himself formed.
God is the God of the Christians,
God care for the people he created.
As a father is kind to his children, so the God Almighty is kind to those who honour him.
God is in heaven, he remembers his people and bless them.
God lives forever; he is not humans that died at old age.
God Almighty is merciful and good; God is compassionate.
God created both light and darkness; he created day and night.

If you are still living in sin repent now and stop those evil you do because the kingdom of God is near.
You can not be one of God's people when you are refusing to repent from those evil things you do and still committing that sin of wickedness, stealing, fornicating, adultery, jealousy, hatred, murder, practicing idolatry, witchcraft, taking property that is not yours, and other evil things.

God is merciful and will forgive all your sins when you pray for the forgiveness of sins. Do not go back to your sins, just follow the way of righteousness and Jesus Christ will help you.

CLOSING PRAYER:
God I thank you for blessing your people with your word today in Jesus Christ name I pray Amen.

God loves his people and never want his people to lack anything good.
It is not the will of God that you will be poor in life because the God of heaven is not a poor God.

Jesus Christ Loves you!!!

I noticed that number (4) text is not having a Bible verse on it.
The number (4) Bible verse is PSALMS 34:10

(4) PSALMS 34:10
Even lions go hungry for lack of food, but those who obey the LORD lack nothing good.

Dtruthspeaker:
First, not just married men/women but "Thou shalt not take Anything that is thy Neighbour's" including his daughters and sons. (Fornication).

Secondly, it is terrible already if they have committed adultery, even if once but surely, it should not be continued.

But the best and most important is "Do Not Do It At All!

And for my fellow men who do not wish to fall, TAKE NOTE THAT WHEN YOU HAVE THAT FEELING, IT IS AN ATTACK FFOM THE WOMEN WHO HAVE TO "SLAY" (MURDER) YOU, WHILST TRYING TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT WAS YOU WHO MADE THEM "MELT".

EXCEPT YOUR OWN TRUE RIB, ALL WOMEN ARE YOU ENEMIES.

AND THEY HATE YOU BECAUSE GOD LOVES YOU AND YOU HAVE A CHANCE OF LIFE BUT THEY DO NOT.

AND LIKE THE SATAN THAT HAS CLAIMED THEM, THEY INTEND TO KILL EVERY MAN THAT THEY SEE WHO HAS A CHANCE AT LIFE.

IF YOU OBSERVE CAREFULLY, YOU WOULD SEE THAT THE REALLY DO NOT PLAY SUCH GAMES WITH DEAD MEN (FORNICATORS AND ADULTERERS) THEY EVEN FLEE FROM THEM.

BUT YOU O LIVING MAN, THEY ARE AND WILL COME FOR YOU. UP TO THE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN WHO NEVER GAVE YOU "FACE", BUT NOW, THEY WILL COME FOR YOU WITH A SMILE AND "GOODY-GOODY" FEELINGS.

SON, REJECT THEM NO MATTER WHAT. DO NOT NEGOTIATE OR TRY TO CHECK WHETHER THEY WILL GIVE IN TO YOU, THEY WILL!

AND SEX WITH THEM IS YOUR DEATH.

THAT IS WHY DAVID WHO HE HIMSELF FELL, WARNED, "STICK TO YOUR WIFE".

SEX WITH A WOMAN WHO IS NOT YOUR WIFE IS TRULY DEATH!

it is not just married men and women who should stop committing adultery, it also involved those who are unmarried.
If a man who is unmarried, have sexual intercourse with another man wife; he commite adultery.
When I mentioned adultery, it applies to both the married and unmarried people.

These Bible Verses will help you to have the right knowledge about God's plan for you not to lack anything good.

PSALMS 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation; I will fear no one.
The LORD protects me from all danger; I will never be afraid.

HEBREWS 13 : 4
Marriage is to be honoured by all, and husbands and wives must be faithful to each other. God will judge those who are immoral and those who commit adultery.

EXODUS 20 : 14
" Do not commit adultery.

Avoid adultery because adultery can make a person died before his or her time.

EZEKIEL 23 : 48
Throughout the land I will put a stop to immorality, as a warning to every woman not to commit adultery as they did.

PROVERBS 5 : 15
Be faithful to your own wife and give your love to her alone.

Turn away from your sins, because the Kingdom of heaven is near. Stop doing evil and begin to do good.
For the unmarried young people who intend to get married, be prepare for your marriage and make up your mind not to commit adultery when you marry because committing adultery is a sin that can lead you to hellfire.
God bless his people in Jesus Christ name Amen.

Jesus Christ loves you!!

Kobojunkie:
Obedience , as fsr as Christianity is concerned, means obeying and actual commandments/law that was given by Jesus Christ.
And Jesus Christ, the one who is God over His followers, gave no such requirement as you continue to claim there to His followers nor to those who will believe in Him.

Jesus instead promised to those that will chose to submit to and obey His actual Words - the Gospel of the Kingdom of God - True joy in their obedience - John 15 vs 9 - 11.

The belief that you fake it- your joyful attitude - to make it does not apply to Christianity but to the world and those of the world.

P.s. God is not the only source of Happiness and joy in this world we live in. He, however, is the only source of True joy which we can only obtain through continual submission and obedience to Jesus Christ.

You are till confused and refusing to accept the advice I gave you.

Joyful attitude is in the scripture was given to people of God to obey as a command.
Joyful attitude mean being joyful always.
Being cheerful always rather than been sad and gloomy all the time.

1THESSALONIANS 5 : 16 - 18
16 Be joyful always, 17 pray at all times, 18 be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus.

PROVERBS 15:13
When people are happy, they smile, but when they are sad, they look depressed.

PROVERBS 17:22
Being cheerful keeps you healthy. It is slow death to be gloomy all the time.

The word of God is truth and never a lie.
Do fake words to misinterpret the word of God. Learn from the word of God so that you may have understanding and been properly guided.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
People of God continue to obey the word of God and remain in God's love.

Kobojunkie:
l Jesus Christ, the one who commands those who belong to Him, did not ask any of His followers to manufacture for themselves joy nor put up a "joyful attitude".
He instead taught that He will supply them with true happiness - joy - when they obey His teachings and commandments .

Unbelievers and, yes, those heavy laden with stress and worries of this world can invoke a joyful attitude but all that means nothing as it is of the world and not sourced from Him. A joyful attitude is not required by Jesus Christ in submitting to and obeying Him. Instead a decision is all that is necessary and this available to all those who are weary and heavy laden.

P.s. Even Jesus Christ experienced Sorrow and Sadness, but He never condemned Himself for not being joyful at those times.

Your point of view is different from my point of view because you do not understand the word of God and its seems difficult for you to interpret the word of God.
Let me interpret the word of God for you about obeying the word of God. When a Christian obey the word of God such Christian is not manufacturing for themselves anything because God is the only source of all good things to his people.
The word of God says in
1THESSALONIANS 5 : 16
16 Be joyful always

A child of God is to obey the word of God which says " be joyful always" by putting it into practice, not by hearing the word of God alone but by also doing it. When a child of God make up his mind to obey the word of God, God gives him his joy which becomes the strength to practice the word of God.
The same way the word of God says "do not steal" as a Christian you should obey the word of God which says "do not steal" by practicing it. A Christian should not take what does not belong to him.

Jesus Christ experience sorrow and sadness because Lucifer also know as Satan wanted to kill him at all costs but Jesus Christ did not allow his sorrow and sadness to make him sin against God but he pray that the will of God will be done in his life; it is because God the source of Joy has given him his Joy as a strength to do the will of God.

PROVERBS 15:13
When people are happy, they smile, but when they are sad, they look depressed.

PROVERBS 17:22
Being cheerful keeps you healthy. It is slow death to be gloomy all the time.

Kobojunkie:
The statements there in bold reveals you don't know much about depression let alone about what you speak of.

Please stop perpetrating these untruths in the name of God.

Again, having a joyful attitude doesn't mean you have no worries. Those who don't have worries are instead those who are at peace.

You are confused and from your comment you shows you don't know much about depression let alone about what you are commenting on this post.

Understand what I am saying; a Christian with a joyful attitude may have worries but the Christian have made a choice not to allow his worries to cause him sorrow and pain thereby committing his worries into the care of God through prayer and by obeying the word of God which say in

1THESSALONIANS 5 : 16 - 18
16 Be joyful always, 17 pray at all times, 18 be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus.

So a Christian does allow the bad circumstances he is facing to make him to be worrying always. Instead the Christian overcome the worries by been joyful instead of been sorrowful and having regrets which may lead him to commit sin.

Those who have no worries have peace of mind because God is the Source of peace to his people.

Kobojunkie:
Having a joyful attitude doesn't mean one has no worries as it is possible to be struggling under the weight of depression and still have a joyful attitude.

Joy isn't the opposite of worry, peace is..

When a depress person have a joyful attitude it shows the depress person do not want his worries to overcome him.
It shows that you do not want your worries to cause you depression and make you a frustrated person.

That is why the word of God says; be Joyful always.

The only thing a depress person can do to overcome his worries is be joyful and pray to God about the problem causing him depression. He is trying to move on with life despite the problem he face.

Sorrow is the opposite of Joy
Because when a person have joy you can dance but a sorrowful person will be mourning and sad rather than dancing.

ECCLESIASTES 3:4
He sets the time for sorrow and the time for joy, the time for mourning and the time for dancing.

Bad is the opposite of Good
illness is the opposite of healthy body
Sorrow is the opposite of Joy.

1THESSALONIANS 5 : 16 - 18
16 Be joyful always, 17 pray at all times, 18 be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus.

Always be joyful. Been joyful mean having a cheerful attitude always. When you are joyful despite the problem you are facing, it shows you have not yet given up. When you have hope it shows there is a tendency for you to overcome the problem that have become an adversary to you.

To be joyful and also saying no to worry will give you both inner strength and physical strength to keep going towards the direction where your goals will become a reality despite the obstacles and challenges that tries to stop you.
How beautiful and wonderful it will look when you get what you want. To be joyful is required in every Christian's attitude.
The attitude of been joyful always will help you to maintain your focus in the Christian journey and will prevent you from fallen into the trap of Lucifer and his cohort.
Do not be worried but be thankful to God who can relieve you from all your worries. Why worry yourself when you can pray to God. God is not happy to see his children worrying at all times. God want every Christian to do the right thing; which is to take your worries to God through prayer and with a thankful heart. So that God can help and guide you out of that problem that give you worries always.

PHILIPPIANS 4 : 6 - 7
6 Don’t worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart. 7 And God's peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus.

For you to get your blessings from God, you have to stop worrying yourself about that problem you are facing, worrying can not solve your problems but instead increases your trouble. Just believe that God can solve your problem. Do not worry, everything will get better, stop regretting and getting upset regularly because of your trouble. Jesus Christ is the solution to your troubles. Have positive thoughts and tell God your problem through prayer, he will listen to you and help you. For with God all things are possible. There is nothing God can not do, he make the impossible possible, for God is the Creator of the heaven and earth, he make a way where there seems to be no way and does wonderful things. Have faith In God, trust God and do not doubt his power to save you and heal your troubles. When you pray to God; pray with psalms 9, psalms 23, psalms 70, psalms 91, psalms 121 and psalms 138 (psalms are found in the bible). Always have this attitude; my troubles can not overcome me because God is my Helper.
If you want God to rescue you from all your problems, just repent from your evil, stop living in sins and pray to God. The Kingdom of God is near! Turn away from your sins and believe the Good News! Only God can help you. Put your trust in God, do not put your trust in man. Man may disappoint you but God can not disappoint you because he is a Faithful God. God is merciful and want to forgive your sins only if you will pray to God for the forgiveness of sins and never commit such evil again.

Do not worry again everything will get better. Do not worry but always smile, listen gospel music, listen to video and audio gospel messages, pray to God concerning your troubles and read your Bible regularly and do not fail to attend church services. God will surely bless you, protect you and save you from the power of darkness in the name of Jesus Christ I pray Amen.

PETER 5 : 7
Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.

You can defeat your worries through faith in Jesus Christ. When you trust Jesus Christ to help you defeat the source of your worries, you become a Victor. It is not good for children of God to be worrying at all times. God want his people to have an attitude of I will not worry for the sake of God. As a Christian do not worry because you have a God who is caring, He is the good Shepherd that take good cares of his flocks.

Instead of worrying get down on your kneel, pray to God, tell God that problem that is making you to worry, ask God to help you and to rescue you from your suffering and believe without doubt and fear in your mind that God will give you victory over your trouble. The God who answer prayers will hear your prayer and will send help and deliverance into your Life.

Worrying is not good for your Christian life, and it can hinder your blessings from God. When you are worrying you can’t concentrate on what you do. Worrying makes you make mistakes which you could have avoided if you were not worrying. Worry can weaken you from praying to God if you allow it. But I am telling you today that you have a Mighty God who can rescue you from that worries, all you have to do is to seek the help of God through prayer and fasting. Never give up, do not be discourage, God is aware of your suffering and he is sending help your way. It will not be long, your trouble shall be a thing of the past. Just believe in Jesus Christ as your Messiah and in God as the one who exist and reward those who diligently seek him. Turn away from your evil and begin to do the right thing always. You can also overcome your worries by asking your fellow Christians, Church members to assist you in prayer.

MATTHEW 18 : 19
“And I tell you more: whenever two of you on earth agree about anything you pray for, it will be done for you by Father in heaven.

You can ask your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to assist and pray with you concerning the trouble you are facing. There is power in prayer. Pray every day with the following Scripture chapters; psalms 9, psalms 70, psalms 91, psalms 121, and psalms 138. Do not be discourage and afraid and worry no more because of the suffering you are passing through just have faith in God, pray and believe that by the help of God everything will be alright again.

MATTHEW 4 : 17
From that time Jesus began to preach his message: " Turn away from your sins, because the Kingdom of heaven is near!"

The Righteous God want people to turn away from their sins. Evil is not good, evil causes harm to humanity. Evil which is sin bring about destruction of lives and property. God of heaven hates evil because he is a Righteous God. God does what is right and fair. God is Just and fair in everything he does.
When the God of heaven, will come with his Son Jesus Christ and with his millions of angels to judge the world. Will you be counted among the righteous people?
Repent now and turn away from your sins because kingdom of heaven is near. The Holy God is coming very soon to judge the world and to reward everyone according to what they have done. If you do good, you will be rewarded and if you do bad you will be rewarded. The God of heaven is a merciful God, he blesses those who do good but reprimand and punishes those who commit sins. God is ready to forgive you all your sins if only you repent and turn away from your evil ways and start doing what is right and fair.

ISAIAH 1 : 18 - 19
18 The LORD says, "Now, let's settle the matter. You are stained red with sin, but I will wash you as clean as snow. Although your stains are deep red, you will be as white as wool. 19 If you will only obey me, you will eat the good things the land produces.

JOHN 3 : 16
For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, God sent his Son Jesus Christ to died for the sins of mankind, so that through his death the sins of mankind will be forgiven and mankind will be in union with God. There is joy in heaven over one sinner who repent from his evil ways. The angels of God rejoices when a sinner forsake his wicked ways and turn to God for mercy. No matter the sins you have committed, God is willing to accept you, and forgive your sins and make you one of his people.

1 PETER 5 : 8
Be alert, be on the watch ! Your enemy, the Devil, roams round like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

MALACHI 3 : 13 - 18
13 " You have said terrible things about me, "says the LORD. "But you ask, 'What have we said about you?' 14 You have said, 'It's useless to serve God. What's the use of doing what he says or of trying to show the LORD Almighty that we are sorry for what we have done? 15 As we see it, proud people are the ones who are happy. Evil people not only prosper, but they test God's patience with their evil deeds and get away with it.'
16 Then the people who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard what they said. In his presence, there was written down in a book a record of those who feared the LORD and respected him. 17 " They will be my people," says the LORD Almighty. "On the day when I act, they will be my very own. I will be merciful to them, as a father is merciful to the son who serves him. 18 Once again my people will see the difference between what happens to the righteous and to the wicked, to the person who serves me and the one who does not."

The LORD Almighty is able to change your life for good. The devil want people to live in sins. The kingdom of Satan does not want any person to do what is right in the sight of God. Because the enemy; Satan wants to oppose the good work of God. Devil have been deceiving people just to keep them from knowing the truth. The kingdom of God is more powerful than the kingdom of Satan. The kingdom of Satan have been defeated by the blood of Jesus Christ and by word of God. The LORD Almighty want people to do what is good and for people to avoid anything that is evil. God created humanity and care about his creature. God does not want any person to be evil or to jealous those who do evil. God is going to judge everyone according to what they have done. The kingdom of God is near, repent from your evil and pray to God for the forgiveness of sins. God is a merciful God. God forgive the sins of those who want to be forgiven.

REVELATION 20 : 11 - 15
15 Then I saw a great white throne and the one who sits on it. Earth and heaven fled from his presence and were seen no more. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small alike, standing before the throne. Books were opened, and then another book was opened, the book of the living. The dead were judge according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. 13 Then the sea gave up its dead. Death and the world of the dead also gave up the dead they held. And all were judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and the world of the dead were thrown into the lake of fire. (This lake of fire is the second death.) 15 Who ever did not have their names written in the book of the living were thrown into the lake of fire.

HOSEA 14 : 9
May those who are wise understand what is written here, and may they take it to heart. The LORD's ways are right, and righteous people live by following them, but sinners stumble and fall because they ignore them.

The LORD Almighty is coming very soon. Turn away from sins and do what is right. God sees what everyone is doing, nothing is hidden before God.
