Tfuly amazing how foolish some Nigerians can be. These people who are proclaiming they are your saviors took the country from 180N to 500N per dollar. Something that had never happen in the country's entire history.
Even when they were stealing and had low oil barrel prices things weren't this bad.
Yet some ignorant purely educated misguided souls will think this is everyone's fault but APC and Buhari. the man need stoning. I appeal to people in his area to stone the slowpoke |

freeze001: When we call this a northern Nigeria islamic army, people will say it is hate speech but here they are blatantly destroying the few threads of hope n belief in the supposed united one Nigeria. They have absorbed significant number of CJTF into the army now it's IDPs and all of northern extraction. 90% of strategic positions of authority in d security agencies are in d hands of northerners so d few Southerners are mere spectators who have no choice but to fall in line.
Where is federal character and what happens to standards on the basis of qualifications? Merit ring a bell anymore? There was country albeit a mere geographical expression. |
Politics › Re: Nigerian Army To Recruit Eligible IDPs by 2016v2017: 11:42am On Feb 08, 2017 |
owobokiri: Buhari and this wayward murderer named Brutai are using this Boko Haram excuse to flood the army with their tribal upstarts and Nigerians should say no to this. For heavens sake; is this not the army of all Nigerians? Few months ago, Burutai went to one school like that either in Nasarawa and promised everybody there automatic enrollment into the army! Few weeks later, he told the whole country that the much vaunted members of the civilian JTF will now be commissioned into the army! The fact that this amorphous group is dominated in the main by stark illiterates was conveniently overlooked! Do we still have set standards for enrollment into the army? Hello? Now he wants to balloon the quantity of northerners in the army by flooding the rank and file with IDPs!
This is exactly how we got to this stage where every army checkpoint you run into brings you face to face with uniformed men looking like aliens! Will they pass the normal procedure for enrollment into the army? States have their quotas, will this be obeyed? Or do this "quota system" thing only come handy when the north feels its about to be shortchanged?? Who is going to conduct the exams? Brutai is from Borno and these are his kiths and kins, is there no clash of interest here? Why are the Niger Delta militants and Bakassi/OPC boys not being recruited immensely into the army since recruitment of folks from jumpy areas seem to be the new fad?? Is the army barracks now a heaven for real and fake refugees? This is serious.
One section of the country controls the army, the air-force, the police, Civil defense, the customs! Is that not scary enough? Why are they using this boko haram menace as an excuse to loot everything in sight through spurious loans and then destroy the countrys institutions by bloating the workforce of security organisation with their own? |

sugarbelly: Two night watchmen in an Ibadan filling station, paraded by Oyo State Police Command, weekend, confessed to have raped a stranded woman inside a mosque, after dispossessing her of her personal effects. . . While parading the suspects, Olajide Olakanmi and Olanrewaju Taiwo, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Sam Adegbuyi, said they also robbed the stranded woman of her money and property. . . Adegbuyi said: “On February 1, at about 1a.m., two night guards attached to a filling station along Ologuneru-Eruwa Road, attacked a female, who had sought refuge at a nearby mosque and robbed her of her belongings, including phone and cash. . . The men, armed with guns and cutlasses, also raped the victim before they escaped. However, due to thorough investigation, the two suspects, later identified as Olajide Olakanmi, aged 30, and Olanrewaju Taiwo, aged 29 were arrested.”
Giving details of what the victim was doing in the mosque at that time, the CP said she was coming from Niger State and arrived Ologuneru area around 11p.m. She was unable to get a vehicle to her dad’s place, near Eruwa. .
Adegbuyi added: “Then, a good Samaritan, who is a commercial motorcyclist, took her to the mosque to pass the night. But the suspects came from a nearby filling station and attacked her.”
The victim said her attackers stole N32,000 from her. When interviewed, the suspects confessed that they actually raped their victim and robbed her of her phone and money.
