I think u guys are missing the point here. wheather he was born on 25th of December or not dosnt matter, so stop wasting your time debating about it. What matters the most is that He was born. It is that Birth we are all supposed to be focused on.

It may not really be 25th december actually, theologist research that Jesus was born during harmattan, so they choose 25th december which will not be far from the actual birthday.

He was born around the time of year the shepherds could stay out in the deserts looking after their flocks day and night. The time of year was around March April.
